THE SUN CASTS its golden rays upon the hospital grounds, illuminating the vibrant blooms that adorned the garden.

the air hummed with a symphony of sounds – the cheerful laughter of children frolicking amidst the flowers, the gentle murmurs of elderly patients basking in the warmth of the day, and the soothing trickle of water from the nearby fountain.

amidst this heartwarming scene, l/n y/n and mrs. itoshi found themselves seated on a weathered wooden bench, their gazes drawn to the playful antics of a group of young children.

the sight warmed their hearts, a welcome respite from the often somber atmosphere of the hospital.

"isn't it just delightful to see these children so full of life?" mrs. itoshi remarked, her voice laced with a touch of nostalgia.

"i remember when you guys were young, you lil' kids would spend hours playing in our garden, your laughters echoing through the air like music."

y/n chuckled and nodded in agreement, a wistful smile gracing her lips. "it's true. i kinda wanna go back to being a kid now."

this heartwarming scene was a poignant reminder of the enduring power of human connection and the simple joys that could be found amidst life's challenges.

"so, my dear n/n," mrs. itoshi inquired with a teasing smile as she glanced at the young girl beside her.

"how are you and sae doing?" mrs. itoshi couldn't help but ship her child and the girl, finding their pairing quite perfect.

"oh my goodness, auntie," the young girl responded with a smile, "we're actually doing quite well now. i can say that he's down bad for me!" she grinned at the elder beside her.

mrs. itoshi couldn't suppress a chuckle at the young girl's observations.

"he was already head over heels for you even when you were just seven," mrs. itoshi remarked, recalling the time when the young sae would frequently seek her advice on 'what girls like'.

a wide-eyed gasp escaped the young girl's lips as she grappled with the unexpected revelation.

"no way, what?" she stammered, her cheeks flushing a rosy hue with each passing second.

sae, the boy she had always harbored a secret crush on, had reciprocated her feelings all along? the thought was both thrilling and surreal.

mrs. itoshi, a perceptive woman, noticed the girl's flustered state and chuckled softly. "he did indeed like you, y/n," she confessed, her eyes twinkling with affection. "he was just too shy to admit it."

mrs. itoshi's gaze softened as she recounted sae's persistent questions about y/n's return.

"ever since you moved away," mrs. itoshi continued, her voice laced with a hint of sadness, "sae would ask me every single day when you would be coming back."
