THE SUN STREAMED THROUGH THE GLASS windows of the resort lobby, casting warm rays onto the group of 11 friends gathered there.
the air buzzed with chatter and laughter as they reminisced about their week-long stay.
"man, this getaway went by too fast," isagi said, stretching his arms above his head. "i can't believe we have to leave already."
"yeah, it feels like we just got here," bachira chimed in, his usual grin plastered across his face. "but at least we made some awesome memories!"
nagi, who was typically silent, added a rare comment, "i'm gonna miss this place."
reo, ever the leader, stepped forward. "alright everyone, let's not dwell on the negatives. we had a great time, and i'm sure we'll make even more memories in the future."
chigiri, who had been quietly observing the scene, nodded in agreement. "reo's right. we should be grateful for the time we had together."
kunigami, ever the stoic one, simply grunted in agreement.
shidou, however, couldn't resist a little jab. "of course you're grateful, ichigo wannabe! you practically lived in the gym!"
kunigami rolled his eyes playfully. "someone has to stay in shape, cockroach. especially with you slacking off all the time."
a playful banter erupted between the boys, their voices filling the lobby with good-natured ribbing.
as they argued and laughed, y/n watched them with a warm smile on her face.
"you guys are crazy as hell," she said, shaking her head in amusement.
sae, who had been standing beside her, chuckled. "just them, not me," he said, wrapping his arm around her shoulder.
as the boys continued their playful arguments, aiku approached y/n. "if only you weren't sae's," he said, sighing.
y/n looked at him, surprised. "then i'd be devasted," chuckling.
a comfortable silence fell between them, the only sound being the laughter and chatter of the boys in the background.
y/n felt a pang of sadness knowing that their time together was coming to an end, but she was also excited for what the future held.
finally, it was time to leave. the boys said their goodbyes, promising to stay in touch.
y/n gave each of them a hug, feeling a sense of both loss and anticipation.
as they walked out of the resort lobby and into the sunshine, y/n turned back to take one last look.
the resort, already starting to bustle with new guests, seemed to fade into the background behind the memories she made there.
