*The next day*
Fuli pov

I wake up next to Kion in the lair. He's still asleep, so I let him be. It's Saturday, so we have a late patrol instead of in the morning, Kion decided to do this so we can have time with family and stuff before it gets too hot on the weekends.

I stretch and walk out the lair, but I hear someone pleading. I see the hunting crew dragging a cheetah saying, "I didn't do nothing." The lionesses say something to him, but he says, "At least let me up. " They sigh but stop, and he stands.

Just then, kion walks out and says, "Who'd they catch now?" I say, "A cheetah, he seems mad." He says,"Let's see what's going on." I say, "Ok."

We walk up to Pride Rock as the hunters and cheetah arrive, so we bow to Simba, and the head huntress says, "We found this cheetah on the south border." The cheetah says, "Your majesty, I am looking for my older sister." Simba says, "In the pridelands?" The cheetah says, "I don't know where to look. We were separated here as cubs." Me and kion look at each other, and the cheetah says, "Her name is Fuli Rose." I about faint, but Kion says, "You have a brother?" I say, "I have a brother." I step up and say, "I am Fuli Rose." He says, "Fuli, please say you remember me." I say, 'No, I don't." Simba growls and says, "Liar." He motions for the crew to take him away, but he says, "Wait, my name is Shujaa, please Fuli." I remember that name, and I remember a lot from it.

*Skip back 10 years*

Me and shujaa are playing in a field when it starts to rain, and our mother runs over and says, "Kids, we have to go now." We can't see or hear very well, so communicating is very hard, so I get turned around and I can't find anybody.

I stumble around blind for a few minutes until I hear talking, so I call out, and I see a lion rushing over to me. When he gets there, he looks skeptical at first, but a girl stands next to him and says, "You have to help her." The Lion says, "But she's a cheetah." The lioness says, "She's a cub." The lion seems upset but picks me up by the scruff of my neck and carries me to Priderock.

The lion introduces himself as King Simba and the female as Queen Nala. They take care of me for a few weeks until their cub is born and named Kion.

We take care of each other and become very close over our lives.

*Present day*
I say "Wait I remember him. He is my brother." Simba looks at me and says, "Are you sure?" I say, "Yes, sir." He says, "Let me and Fuli speak in private." The room empties, and Simba says, "Why should I trust him." I say, "He's my brother, why not." Simba sighs and says, "We don't know anything about him, though." I say,"I'll keep him in check like I did, Kion, sir." He chuckles and says,"Fine, if he wishes to stay, he has 2 strikes, though, after that, he's out." I say, "That's fair." He says, "You should explain to him the rules of the pridelands and show him around during patrol if the guard is okay with it, of course." I say, "Yes sir, I will."
He nods and says, "Alright, go. I believe patrol starts soon." I say, "Yes, sir, thank you. You're majesty." I bow and walk out of the room." I walk down to find Shujaa.

I see him talking with Kion, so I say, "Shujaa, you're with us today." Kion says, "Showing him around?" I say, "Yeah, if he's staying." Shujaa says, "Alright."

I hug him and say, "It's good to see you, bro." He says, 'It's good to see you too, Fuls." I say, "Where's mom and dad?" His mood darkens, and he says, "They've completed their journey through the circle of life." I say, "Oh, sorry." He says, 'It's okay, their your parents too." I feel tears welling up in my eyes, so Kion says, "I'll meet you at the lair, take your time." I nod, and Kion walks away. Shujaa says, "They wanted you to know they love you and wish they could've seen you again." The tears start to flow as I say, "What happened?" He says, "They got sick, and we couldn't find the cure."
We embrace again, so I rest my head in his shoulder. His fur is rougher than mine, probably from spending more time in the elements. But I calm down and say, "We should go." He says, "Yeah, probably."

We walk down to the lair, and I say, "Hey guys, this is Shujaa." Bunga says, "Hey, Kion was telling us about you. I'm Bunga, the bravest." He says, 'Hey, you're uh Timon's nephew, right?" Bunga says, "How'd you know that." He says, "I know Timon's mom." Bunga says, "Ohhh." Beshte walks over and says, "I'm Beshte the strongest, and Ono was here, but I think he's already scouting for Janja.
I nod, and Kion says, "All right, let's go, we gotta start soon."
