Forbidden Love

Fuli pov
*That night*
I meet Kion at priderock, and we walk to Hakuna Matata Falls. He brought me to the top of the waterfall to a spot I didn't know existed. It's full of flowers and beautiful vegetation. There's a lot of trees, but we can still see the sky.

He says, "Do you like it?" I say, "Yes, this is beautiful." He smiles and says, "I'm glad you like it it's one of the only places I could think of to bring you." I say, "I've never been here, so it's perfect." He says, "I'll do it one better then, I got impala." I say, "You hunt no way." He says, "Nah Kiara got it. I helped get it here." I say, "Have you ever hunted?" He says, 'No, I haven't had time and haven't needed to." I say, "Do you want me to teach you?" He says, "Sure." I say, "We can after patrol." He smiles and says, "Alright." I say, "Let's eat." He laughs and says, "I'm in." We eat and then lay in the grass to talk and watch the stars he asks, "Do you ever want to leave Fuli?" I say, "The pridelands, yeah, I want to travel the world, just think of all the things to see, the smells, the stars, the friends, the animals to eat." He smiles and says, "There's gotta be so much out there we haven't seen." I say, "Yeah, I want to see all of it." He scoots closer and says, "And I want to be next to you as you do." I laugh and say, "Was that all a pickup line." He says, "Not really, it's the truth." I smile at him.

He nuzzles up to me and says, "Really, you're the best animal I've ever met." He's being so mushy compared to his normal self. I point this out saying, "What's with you being so soft." He says, 'I don't know, I just like being with you." I blush and don't respond. He says, "Sorry if it's making you uncomfortable." I say, 'No, I like it." He says, "Really?" I say, "Yeah, you're like me tough on the outside, but you're soft-hearted." He says, "You, have a heart I doubt it." I say, 'Hey, I have a heart,' and nuzzle him. He laughs and says, "I love you, Fuli." I feel his cheeks getting warmer as I say, "I love you too, Kion." He yawns and says, "It's getting late. We should try to sleep. I nod and say, "Yeah."
We roll over next to each other.  I start to shiver, and he says, "You cold?" I say, "Yeah, it's getting pretty cold." He says, "I can help. Before I can question it, he wraps his arms around me and hugs his body to mine. I don't resist and catch myself purring as we both start to fall asleep."
I wake up next morning to Simba yelling angrily, "Kion!"
