"Welllll," Reiner dragged as the metal door clanged shut behind him. "Isn't this a big happy reunion?" He playfully smiled at the two men standing across the large room from him. 

Eren & Levi looked over at each other before looking back at Reiner. Levi's hands rested in his pockets while he leaned against a metal beam. And Eren's arms sat folded over his chest as they normally did when he felt some sort of tension.

Levi tilted his head, "If I didn't know any better I'd think you were happy to see us."

"Happy to see y— of choice I am!" He chuckled, "Have you not figured out that today's the day I get to throw a party every year for? It's the start of a tradition!"

"Yeah?" Eren raised a brow, "What's the occasion?"

"The remembrance of the day I slit the throats of my enemies & gained control over the entire U.S. territory."

Eren smirked, chuckling a single time. "Why? Still thinking you're getting outta this alive?"

Reiner raised his brows, a light smile painted his lips. "Oh I know I am, I just figured a quick slice through your windpipe or maybe a bullet between your eyes would be a lot easier on you than stomping ears together."

"Awww, how considerate," Eren poked out his bottom lip, widening his eyes with a twinkle & covering his chest with a hand. All before all his features dropped to unamused. "I'd prefer to see you try."

Reiner removed his large hairy hands from his beige trench coat, spreading them out in front of him with a smirk and a shrug. "So you're saying you do wanna fight me?"

"Get your big back ass over here & find out."

He cracked his neck and shimmed his shoulders beginning to approach Eren. "I've been waiting on this a looong time."

"I'm sure." Eren smiled while adjusting his stance.

The door was snatched open again, the scrapping metal pulling both of their attention. "Eren!"

It was as if Levi's heart sank to the bottom of the abyss that was his subconscious. The breath left his body as his eyes slowly shifted from nonchalant to a widened state. "...Zeke" He quietly exhaled.

Unheard at all by Zeke, he focused on his brother. Taking enough steps forward to meet him halfway. "I looked all over for you...listen if we leave now, we can—"

"—Leave? Eren's not going anywhere." Reiner twisted his face over at the blonde.

"Reiner..." Zeke shrugged & shook his head as if he was confused. "You can't just kill my brother—"

"No, no. He's right, why would you think I'd go anywhere with you?" Eren's eyebrows nearly kissed.

Zeke sighed, "I-I can explain everything on the way but for now we've gotta get outta here while there's still time! This doesn't have to be your fight, let me protect you!"

Levi pushed himself off the beam & stepped forward. "So...After two years of lying...you finally admitted to what really happened to Erwin Smith."

His eyes drifted over to Levi's, he shook his head, the instant regret melting down his face in remembrance. "I was just....i was just following orders—"

"—Fuck Erwin Smith." Reiner scoffed.

Levi shot his glare over, "Similar to how he fucked your Ex, right?"
