~Len's POV~

"The great Rin-thousand never blushes!" Her yell made me chuckle and I couldn't help but laugh. She came up to walk beside me and smiled brightly, only causing me to grin. Rin was different from other girls; she doesn't obsess, she's not annoying, and she's funny. I couldn't have believed my eyes when I saw her all grown up and on her own. It's really has been long since those days, hasn't it?

Because of the frigid temperature, I placed my hands in my jacket pockets and lowered my chin to be warmed by the jacket. Growing up in the sun my whole life, I wasn't used to this temperature, but Rin seemed fine. She looked at me and gave a little giggle, causing me to blush. "Are you cold?" She asked me, and I looked away. "Of course not." I said, but I lied.

I heard a zip then felt something drop onto my head. "I don't need it." She said. Her dull, navy blue jacket had shielded my body from the cold temperature. Knowing her, she probably won't take it back until we get to her house. Rin's stubborn, alright, but it's because she's too kind.

"Len, why did you avoid me the first day of school?" The blonde kept her view forward, her hands behind her back. I wasn't sure of what to say, say the truth or lie. If there was anyone I didn't want to lie to it was Rin, but I didn't want to say the truth. I was left with no choice.

"I was just hesitant, wasn't sure of your personality." I gave a false explanation. Rin gave a slight nod, smiling and looking to the distance. "Makes sense."

We finally reached her house, and it was notably small. She turned to face me and gave a bright smile. "Here we are." Rin exclaimed. I nodded and the girl started walking to the front door. With one, last wave, she entered. The door and disappeared from my sight. I started on the way to my house and couldn't stop thinking about what's happened in my life.

Who knew Rin would suddenly make a reappearance?

~Rin's POV~

I was glad to be home. My dad was already asleep and all the lights except a lamp were off. My dad laid on the couch with a book on his chest. I sighed, removing the book and placing a blanket on him. I kissed his forehead and headed up the stairs. I couldn't wait to get in my pajamas and fall to sleep!

Finally, I got into bed, but found it hard to sleep. Our walk kept replaying in my head. I didn't want our walk to end, it was soothing. Even if it was Miku or Luka, I would want to just talk to one person for a long time. My eyes started to slowly shut, and then I was out.

I woke up in school, wet from head to toe. People were laughing at me, throwing various objects towards me. They chanted ridiculing rhymes and constantly insulted me, as any bully would do. What did I do? Their horrible name calling made me angry and yet, I found the ability to move lacking in my action-less body. I didn't know to do. Then, I saw all my friends, glaring at me as if I had done something wrong. I thought they would interfere with the teasing, but they didn't. They looked in satisfaction as I was continuously hated. My friends did nothing.

I woke up sweating, inhaling and exhaling hard. The dream had freaked me out, I had no idea what the cause of that was. The clock read 7:25, school starting in 30 minutes. I got out of bed and began readying myself for the day.

It was such a little dream, and yet it had such an impact in my stamina and attitude. I didn't want to go to school, but I had to. The image of my friends glaring at me stuck in my head and I couldn't think of anything else.

What's going to happen when I see them, face to face? I can't replace them with the people on my dream, but can't help but feel that is who they really are. I couldn't help but substitute their presence with the rude ones in my dream. It ruined my day.

But I guess I'll see how today goes.
