Ravi noticed his mom's well up with tears. "Ma, why are you crying?" "You cut yourself off from everyone Ravi after she left. Watching you like that broke my heart. You locked yourself in your room everyday only ever coming out to go to work and back. I heard your cries late at night. You didn't talk to anyone, not even me. But what was I supposed to do every time I tried to you screamed for me to leave. To leave you alone in your bubble of misery and grief. That's a mother's greatest pain, their child resenting them"
Ravi wiped his mom's tears, his eyes wet with his own. "I won't do it again, I promise, Ma" Ravi hugged his mom. The feeling of guilt spreading.
"Bring her home for dinner one day, yea?" "I will."
