Recollections of a peaceful past flooded his mind; he had been a beloved figure in his district, known for kindness. Drifting into a drowsy sleep, dreams painted a contrasting narrative. Home appeared unscathed, but shadows loomed. In the dark turns of his dream, Max fell to an ambush, Antonio suffered in captivity, and Enzo succumbed to a relentless rage.
Beads of sweat formed on Branden's forehead until a warm hand quelled the storm within. Tranquility returned as Branden slipped back into peaceful slumber, the mysteries of their entangled destinies lingering in the air.
