A/N: I hope you all enjoy it!

Roger's POV:

Still two days ago

"My apologies. I wanted to bring you breakfast and a change of clothes before we headed back. I will leave a note next time, I promise.", I peppered kisses all over Auden's face.

He huffed again before lowering his head to my neck nuzzling against it. Auden's nose inhaled my scent as I rubbed his back, gently up and down, a physical reminder that I am here with him.

"Are you ready to get out of the rain?" I asked him as my hand moved up to scratch at his scalp.

He growled lowly before he sat up, straddling me as he took the coffee cup out of my right hand. He sipped it before he nodded in approval as he stood up offering me his hand.

I took his hand with a smirk, I pressed a kiss against his cheek. Auden leaned into my touch, returning the kiss before he grumbled, "I hate the rain"

"Why is that?", I asked as I interlocked the fingers of our free hands together and started to walk in the direction of home.

"it messes with my sense of smell", He huffed out before drinking more of the coffee, "speaking of which Nia hates coffee"

"Really? Maybe she hasn't had the right blend", I shook my head lightly as another lightning strike flashed through the sky.

"She prefers tea", He told me before I felt him lightly tug on my hand, "What else ya got, Peaches?"

"A few donuts I did take a lot of blood from you last night", I scanned his body to see if any of the bite marks I left on him yesterday were still visible.

Everything was healed over aside from my claim bite on his ankle. I licked my lips at the sight, how could it look so perfect?

A shiver went through my body at the thought of our mates wearing the same bite forever. Auden leaned down his lips brushing against the claim bite he left on my neck, "Thanks, peaches"

It didn't take us very long to get back to my house. Upon entering the house the rain became a harsh downpour with strong wind speeds.

Auden literally shook himself off like a dog and I laughed at the sight. He flipped me off as he snatched the bag of doughnuts out of my hand, pulling out a sprinkled one and munching on it.

The sound of someone coming down the stairs took my attention, looking up I saw it was Gannon, "I brought doughnuts for everyone"

"Nia, Cody, and I were trying to find out more about her curse mark, and I let go of control.", Gannon paused to pinch the bridge of his nose, "Nia hasn't woken up since"

Auden dropped the donuts and his mostly empty coffee cup, I grabbed them before they hit the ground. Auden started to shake before growling, "What the fuck do you mean?"

I moved into the kitchen, placing the doughnuts on the counter, and rushed back to Auden's side, placing my hand on his shoulder, "We'll handle this together. Nia will be ok"

Auden clasped a hand over mine, breathing deeply and slowly he was still again, "This wasn't your fault, Cupcake. Maybe it's residual fae magic interfering with yours and that's why she passed out. I'll hunt that fae down, and force them to wake her".

"Let's not go off half-cocked. We don't even know if that is true '', I warned as I squeezed his shoulder gently, "Messing with Faes is no joke. They are one of the most powerful magic wielders in the world"

I heard the sound of someone coming down the stairs, the scent of after it rains wafted over the staircase before Cody came in sight, shoving down a plain white t-shirt and buttoning blue jeans on.
