You could feel yourself running out of air as the killer dragged you along by your shirt, the fabric pressing so tightly against your throat that it cut off all chance for you to be able to breathe. Your back hurt from being scraped against all the sticks and rocks, but that was the least of your worries as your already-wounded head began to pound again.

To make matters worse, it seemed like there was no one else out here to save you, either. Xiao probably hadn't been able to get any useful information from your call with him, and Ganyu and your other friends had no way of knowing what was going on. You hadn't called the police either so you knew it would probably be a while before anyone came around to find you. And by then, this killer would have already been able to hide your body.

You felt panic rise in your throat as you continued to claw desperately at your shirt in an attempt to rip it. Why did you have to always pick clothes with such sturdy materials?

Above you, Xiao's yaksha mask glinted in the slight light created by the crescent moon. For half a second, you wondered if it might even be him behind it.

But then, you knew that was impossible. He would never do anything to harm you; you knew that all too well. Plus, his mask had gone missing so whoever currently had it couldn't be him. Also, you hated to admit this one, but whoever was dragging you along right now was much taller than your boyfriend.

You had no idea who they were, but at this point it didn't matter since they would likely be the one to send you to your grave. Sadness washed over you at the thought; you weren't ready to go yet, and especially not in such a gruesome way.

So you kept fighting even though your vision was getting blurrier. You were on the verge of passing out but you just kept clawing at the hand of the killer.

They were wearing gloves so your efforts didn't really bother them though, and soon enough the two of you had reached the street where your car had been crashed, and theirs was safely parked a few meters behind it. If they really planned on killing you though, you weren't exactly sure why they'd bothered to drag you all the way back here. Wouldn't there have been less evidence if they'd done it out in the woods?

They let go of you now that you two were right be the road, allowing your tired body to collapse against the coarse forest grass. Though you couldn't see their face, you could practically tell they were smirking behind the mask.

Suddenly, the sound of a car in the distance caught your attention and you lifted your head to see a pair of headlights coming from afar. Relief flooded through you at the thought of someone seeing this and being able to help, and you gained a new drive to fight as you turned back to the killer, who had one of their throwing knives raised now to stab you.

Eyes widening, you put a hand up just in time to grab their wrist as they brought it down, holding the knife just above your face and dangerously close to harming you.

Breathing heavily, you reached your other hand up to continue struggling against them now as they kept trying to bring the knife down in your face. It was taking all the strength you had to hold them back and keep from collapsing right now; with the only comfort you had being the fact that someone was coming.

The sound of the car drew closer now and you mentally screamed for them to hurry up; to see what was going on and stop it.

The killer must have heard them too though, because they brought down even more force on the knife. You were thankful you'd trained with Xiao in self defense as much as you had in the past, otherwise you would have easily been overpowered by them at this point.

Finally, the car's driver seemed to notice you and pulled off the road, coming to a stop not far from where you were laying as their headlights illuminated the killer's back.
