Going home

The doctor estimated that I would be in the hospital for about 3 more days until I could bring Tyla home. I can't wait to be in the house with Jayden and Tyla we would finally be a complete family. Hope, Mack and everyone came down and though I said it was too much they insisted on throwing me a party. I can't wait to go home so bad it killing me. I'm not saying that it was bad here, it couldn't have been better. The doctor was great and the delivery was fast, but painful besides which delivery isn't painful. Maybe a pizza delivery I say cracking my self up. The mother next to won't stop complaining about how her baby needs this and her baby needs that. I ask her if it's her first child and she says no, so don't think I'm crazy for knowing what a baby needs. But she is not finish she starts to tell me about her other kid, a little boy. I doze off in the middle of her story and wake up to hear the wailing of her baby. Jayden personally asked if they could keep my baby in the ---------- for most of the time so that I could get some rest. This lady must not have because her baby cries so much it's as if it's always with her.
The doctor comes in later that night.
"Hey Doc" I say sitting up
"How are you doing" he says sitting on the edge of my bed
"I'm doing fine, really good actually" I say
"Good" he says laying his hand on mine
It is as if the lady next to me saw him do this even with the curtain closed because she screams "You better get out of here because from what I know doctors are not suppose to see the patients outside of the office, especially not in their rooms"
"Don't worry, I'm much more than a doctor" he screams back taking his hand off of mine.
"Oh yeah you're also a girl stealing bastard now get lost before I push the help button" She screams and Rhodes words seem to catch him because he suddenly gets up and starts to leave.
"Sorry" he says before rushing out
"These doctors think there all that, trying to make moves on their lady patients. Don't you think they would know better after all you just had a baby" She sighs and I laugh
"Your right, their booksmart but not common sense smart." I say and for some reason I realize she is right. I think I might have for the first time considered liking this lady.
On my last day Cassie (the lady next to me) exchange contact information, we even took a picture of our babies together it was so cute. Tyla was on the right and Mya, her little girl was on the left. Tyla was even kissing her forehead that's how you know she is going to be loving and they are going to become best friends when they are older. To my surprise Cassie is only 24 I would have at least pictured her as a 36 year old. I'm in a car on my way home, I was kind of upset Jayden did not come to get me but I have gotten over it. I haven't spent much time with Tyla so I had no idea what I was in for when she had her first car ride home. She balled and when I say she balled she balled, and I had no idea how to stop her. By the time we got home the driver looked pissed but I didn't care cause the minute we came out of the car she stopped crying. But I payed him extra so he wouldn't tell the whole world we just got home. When I go inside there is a full grown party going on. The all jump out of places and scream surprise.
"Oh my gosh, it's my birthday I didn't know" I say sarcastically
"Uh huh we will let you think that. But this party ain't for you. Welcome home Tyla" Aron says hugging me.
"This is the most packed I've ever seen the house. Even though it most be only about 50 people still" I tell him
"Well that's Jayden doing stuff he wouldn't usually do for his new baby" he says tickling Tyla.
"Where is he anyway, I saw Hope outside but she was with her new boyfriend so I didn't want to intrude" I tell him
"Oh, last time I saw him he was in the backyard on the grill" he says
"Thanks" I say picking up Tyla's carriage and carrying her to the backyard. I find Jayden there roasting corn.
"Umm smells good can I have one" I say behind him
"Sure one sec" he says not looking up, but then he does and drops the corn when he sees me.
"Kira" he screams picking me up and spinning me around. Then he sees Tyla and takes her out the seat.
"Omg your so beautiful" he says
"Who me" I ask batting my eyes
"Both of you" he says pulling us in a group hug.
"It's nice to be home with my family" he says. Yeah.
That night we all slept in the mastered together, even though the doctor said it wasn't safe we didn't care. Tyla was fine and that's all that mattered for now.
