Accidents P2

Jayden POV
Why hasn't Kira and Tyla come home as yet. I check the time for like the fifth time. They are supposed to be home, by now. I check my phone for texts from her. No miss calls, nothing. I try to call her but it goes straight to her voicemail. Ughh, why do you have to be so difficult. I go into the meeting room and explain that Kira will be late, if not be able to make it.
"Ok then shall we start" The current assistant CEO says.
"Well I want to make a small shift in positions" I say
"I guess I will give the lead to the CEO, Mr. Binks" he says sitting down nervously
"Don't worry, it's not you" I say assuring him he is not getting fired, at least not today I think.
"I wasn't" he says a little to cockily, why did I hire him again. Oh yeah he is the best in the state behind me of course.
"Ok then, the meeting is know in session" I say looking at the clock once more.

Kira POV
I am outside the house and haven't decided whether I wanted to turn back around or not. I finally find the courage to go inside but leave everything in the car except Tyla and my purse. I go up to the doorbell and tell Tyla to be very quiet.
"Dada" She says and I cover her mouth
"No dada, he is not here" I say
My gran answers the door and slams the door shut when she sees us. I did not see that coming but a few seconds later my gramp answers the door and pulls us in quickly.
"What's up with gran" I ask
"What do you mean what's up with her. Your father came back here on a mad hunt for you when he got out of jail. And he nows we were part of your still existence" Gramps says taking Tyla from me
"I meant to call but I couldn't turn on my phone, as to not be tracked back here." I say putting down my bag
"Omg she is so big" He says putting her down on the floor. "Why is that boyfriend of yours anyway"
"I had to leave him home. John is coming and I don't want him to get hurt" I say
"Then why did you bring the baby" he asks
"I have to show him that I have a family now and I'm not his anymore." I say
"So you used your baby as proof" He says
"I know, I thought of it last minute and did not think of the different possible outcomes." I say ashamed
"Ahhh, Kira. You have got to go home, now" He says
"Ummm, that may be a problem because I already told him we were here" I say nervously
"Kira are you serious, go upstairs and tell your grandmother goodbye then I'm sorry but your going to have to go. I am not in the mood to take any chances of getting any of you guys hurt. I'm sure you can put up with a few threat notes once in a while" He says picking up Tyla and handing her to me.
"Come on pops" I whine
He Then we hear another voice "Yeah come on pops"
"John" I say
"You mean daddy" He says walking up to me. I back up and give my Tyla to grandad
"Hi dad" I say with him about a foot away from me.
"Are you going to give me a hug" He says stepping in to hug me. I let him because I really can't say no, but I don't hug him back. When he hugs me I feel a surge of electricity go through me. I hate it so bad, it's not good kind of electricity. I get flashbacks of all the bad memories, the nightmares, the hell he put me through. I push him away instantly.
"Sorry" I say and he just smiles
"I know it's been a while" He says sitting down on a couch and motioning for me to come to. He told me to never tell anyone what happened, so he thinks that's how it is. But he has no idea they know almost anything. So it takes him by surprise when Grandad speaks.
"So John, you here for sex or to apologize" He asks
"What do you mean" He says, then looks at me ever so quickly I think only I noticed.
"Don't try to pretend, I know everything" Granddad says
"Kira" He says looking at me
"I'm sorry" I say again and I move to go pick up Tyla who has started to cry.
"So that's your baby" He says standing up
"Yeah" Granddad says walking to block him from coming to close to us.
"It's okay" I tell Grandad, but he doesn't move.
"You heard her get lost"John screams, Grandad quickly leaves the room muttering something.
"I didn't mean that" I say under my breath
"But I did" John says coming closer to me. I don't respond.
"So you have a big shot husband now" He says stepping back and taking out his phone. He shows me a picture of us at the beach in Hawaii. I knew it wasn't the paparazzi. Tyla sees the picture.
"Dada" She says
"Yeah that's Daddy. Your a smart girl aren't you, so there's no way your actually Kira's because it wasn't very smart of her to go tell people what happened." He says reaching to take her from me. I pull her back
"So I can't hold my granddaughter, you're right you husband won't allow it. He even sent me to jail, but I have fans on the outside so it didn't matter." He says pulling his hands back
"Boyfriend" I say
"You two aren't even married, then why the hell do you have a baby with him" He screams at me
"I wanted one that's all" I say even though it's not true
"It was a mistake wasn't it" He says
"Never ever refer to my baby as a mistake" I snare at him.
"Sorry, let me rephrase that. She was an accident" He says heading towards the door
"Just like coming here was, and getting you as a father" I scream after him.
"Accidents what can I say, they can't be undone. So now that you have come here you can't go back, I hope you understand" He says before locking the door and leaving.
"We got to get out of here" I say out loud.
"You just realize that" I hear grandad say
"I'm sorry I came" I say knowing it's not safe for them to stay here if I am actually going to leave.
"Don't worry gran has known this was going to happen since the minute you came. She found a really good hotel for us to stay at and already packed the bags. I think you should go up and say goodbye then hit the road." He says and I smile a grans intuition. I hand Tyla to grandad then run up the stairs. I have to be quick, I peek inside each room until I see her in her bedroom on the phone.
"I swear she is still here" I hear her say. I silently walk into the room, and she doesn't see me.
"Why do you want to hear her" She asks
"She doesn't want to to speak to you" She says
"Don't you dare accuse me of lying" She says then she looks up and sees me
"Alright how much you want to bet, I can put her on the phone right now" She grins
"2 thousand, alright. Come Kira talk to your father" She says handing me the phone.
"Hello" I say, I don't hear a voice on the other side.
"John" I say
"Kira" he answers
"What" I say annoyed
"It's good to know a part of you still listens, I'll be there in the morning." He says then the line goes dead. I give Gran back the phone.
"Oh my gosh, I thought you would have already been gone" She says hugging me
"It's a good thing I was still here or he would have came back, right" I laugh
"Kira I would have rather him got us then you and Tyla. You guys have to go, Grandad and I are just about to leave." She says losing the hug.

"I know I just wanted to say, bye and I'm sorry" I say tears flowing down my face

"Kira you don't need to be sorry, I've wanted to get out of this house for a long time now it's alright and drive safe ok" She says hugging me again and wiping away my tears with her hand.
I kiss her on the cheek then help her carry the suitcases downstairs. By the time we finish Granddad has already packed Tyla into the car. I insist to drive them to the airport, to catch the first flight to South Carolina, where the hotel is. After I drop them off Tyla and I are back alone on the road. This time she is not sleeping but very cranky and loud. Its so nerve wracking that I forget to turn back on my phone to call Jayden. I stop at a red light and a car zoomes in front of me. I beep him, but he doesn't move. Moron doesn't he know this is a one way. The light turns green, I'm not going to move, but I think he already did.
