Chapter 2

Monday Morning

Loud speaker: Jayden Binks please report to the principals office. Jayden Binks

"That's my cue. Wish me luck" I say to Mack before going down to the office.

I walk downstairs to the

office. Wondering about all the different type of messes I might find when walk through that door but just hope for the best.

I open the door to find a young looking girl sitting in a chair texting on her phone. She seems not to even notice me when I come into the office.

"Jayden, this is the girl I have been telling you about, meet Kira"

"Hi, Kira. I'm Jayden. Oh yea she just said that srry. Welcome to our school"

"Oh"

"umm"

"okay, kids we fixed kira's schedule so that you guys have must classes together so head to class" Ms. Lea says guiding us out the class to talk to kira's parents.

I walk her outside and once we are out the office she puts her phone in her back pocket and starts to walk away.

" Wait up"

" I don't need a buddy. If u are starting to feel pity for me, just know I'm fine on my on"

So much for a shy girl. "I was not thinking that"

"Good, so now you may walk me. Where are we heading?"

"Sassy arent you? It's first period, we have assembly. It's an every Monday and Friday morning routine."

"I know, remember I went to North Side. We basically have the same schedule."

"Oh, then why you asked"

"To annoy you" Kira says before flipping her hair and walking away to the auditorium.

That girl is far from shy and not to bad looking herself. She is average height, long black hair, with dark coffee colored skin, that real curvy body and not flat at all. She is really pretty actually, beautiful. But she seems really annoying.

I have no choice but to follow her I guess. I run after her and can't help feel jealous when I see her talking to Mack smiling and giggling.

"Hey, Mack what are you doing"

"Oh, hey jay. Did you meet Kayla"

I can't help look at her and smirk knowing that she just told him her name was Kayla and not Kira.

"Yea, I met her this is the girl I was telling you about my buddy"

"you never told me she was hot" Mack says

"I never knew till today" I saw smiling at Kira "Come on, Kira play time is over, let's get to the first period"

"What??! you mean Kayla" Mack says

"Nope, I mean Kira" I say

"Bye" Kira says to a shocked Mack

We walk down the hall to class

" You think I'm hot" Kira says stopping in the middle of the hall

"No" I say blushing "what!!???"

" uh huh. If you say so" Kira says "Your  friend, Mack. He seems nice."

"You like him"

"Maybe"

"oh" I say feeling jealous

"I'm just joking you big fat phony" she says punching me in my arm "he's friend material but not bf material"

"oh good" I say smiling

"why is it so good" she says grabbing my shirt and standing in front of me

"I....I" I say at a lost of words I just want to
