Chapter Four

I get on the train with Cedric and Cho. We slip into an empty compartment and put our stuff above. A kid goes running down the hallway.

"Harry Potter is here," he screams. Cedric closes the compartment door. The train starts to pull off and Cho and Cedric waves bye to their family.

"Who?" I ask.

"What in the world girl?" Cho asks. "Doesn't both your parents have magic?"

"Cho," Cedric snarls. Cedric is the only one that knows what they're like.

"I haven't lived with them since I was eight," I inform her.

"Sorry," she says. I smile at her.

"So who is Harry Potter?"

"He survived the most unforgivable curse ever," Cho states.

"He has a lightning scar right there," he says as he pokes my forehead. We stare each other in the eyes. I smile a bit.

"His parents didn't make it though," Cho says, breaking the connection between Cedric and me.

"I feel sorry for him."

I look out the window and start fiddling with my necklace. The country side passes by. It's quite gorgeous.

"Where did you live?" Cedric asks.

"Originally Ireland. Then my family moved to London. That's where we split. You guys?"

"Lived my entire life near Ottery St. Catchpole," Cedric says.

"I've traveled all over England," Cho says. Cedric heads out real quick and come back with some food from the trolley. He tosses me a box that reads 'Chocolate Frog'. I open it and catch the chocolate frog as it jumps out.

I start eating the leg as I pull out the picture. It is Dumbledore. He walks away and I set the picture down. A croak fills the compartment and we look to see a toad. Cho screams and Cedric laughs. I pick it up.

"It's not going to hurt you," I inform her. A boy with brown hair and hazel eyes runs in.

"Trevor," he practically shouts. "You found him."

I give him Trevor and he leaves. I pick up a box of jelly beans.

"Toss me one," Cedric says. I grab a yellowish-orange one and it lands in his mouth. He swallows and makes a weird face.

"Why would they make one taste like ear wax?" He asks. Cho and I break out laughing. These two are my first actual friends.
