*3 days later*
August POV
Another year older and damn had this year been crazy as hell. First I had my family and then I didn't and now I have it back, and I'm gone keep it this time. My little man is finally the big 1, and I can't believe it's actually been a years since my baby was born. Its funny how Tee was pregnant on my birthday last year and she's pregnant now. Anyway. She was still asleep in my arms and I knew she would wake up any minute, so I waited on her to get up, and when she did she looked at me smiled, kissed my cheek, and then got up and left the room! She didn't even tell me happy birthday! I sat up in the bed and looked at the door awkwardly, then I saw her come back in with Haven and Harley behind her and two cupcakes. I smiled as she climbed on top of me and Harley beside me. She gave me Haven as she and Harley held both cupcakes.
Tee: happy birthday handsome's!
Me: thank you.
I looked at Haven and all he was trying to do was grab the cupcake, I laughed as Tee and Harley looked at us.
Harley: daddy?
Me: yeah baby?
Harley: mommy said your old.
I looked at Tee and she shrugged.
Me: so I'm old now ma?
Tee: older than me.
Me: that don't make me old!
Tee: one more year older and closer to thirty.
Me: but I ain't thirty yet.
Tee: sooner or later you will be.
Me: whatever.
Tee: anyway, I think we need to get everything ready for the party.
Me: yeah.
I looked at Haven who was eating the cupcake.
Me: happy birthday son!
Tee smiled.
Tee: can you tell daddy happy birthday?
Haven: bifday!
Me: yeah son.
Tee smiled and Harley and Haven started devouring the cupcakes.
Me: last time I checked it was my birthday too y'all!
Tee: I bought more baby.
She grabbed Haven and Harley followed and left the room and then came back with another cupcake. She climbed back on top of me and kissed my lips.
Tee: happy birthday sexy.
Me: thank you beautiful.
She smiled.
Tee: so are you I going to eat this cupcake or not because it's making me really hungry.
Me: we can share it.
We ate the cupcake together occasionally stopping in between to have a heavy make out session licking the icing off one another frequently.
Tee: mhm, baby I think we need to stop.
Me: no baby. Keep going.
I pushed my lips back into hers while caressing her body. Now that she's past her six month mark and since the last time she was pregnant our baby was early their scared that sex might harm the baby, but I don't understand how because sex is the reason the baby's here now! But for the sake of baby Hope I'll wait, which is killing me and Tee.
Me: ma, I can't handle this shit anymore.
Tee: I can't either but we have to for Hope.
Me: I'm only do this for my baby.
