Sparky quietly sat on her couch at home, scrolling her suggested page for inspiration.
She had found the last few days quite boring, Miller suggested that after the alleyway brawl with Waakhound, the trio lay low as much as they could. She hadn't seen the two since then, only a passing message or two delivered to her on the streets via other yakuza.
And it was unfortunate too, her fall break was coming up and she missed the company of Tony and Miller! She can only spend so much time with school friends before they drive her crazy.
She checked the time, and decided she should make herself some dinner...it was already half past 7 anyway.
She sleepily got up and went to grab something from her fridge, snagging some leftover sushi from the other day...
She quietly sat and ate...looking over her apartment.
It wasn't very tidy, then again Sparky spent more time on the streets then at home, she had folders of schoolwork, several pictures she had taken over the last few weeks, and a few random knick-nacks from school trips and explorations she could barely remember...
Sparky had lived alone for a little over 2 years, spent 14 years in foster homes until some dudes in suits picked her up and brought her to the place...since then she had just been living there. No supervision of any parent or guardian.
Sparky finished her small dinner and stood in the center of her living room, thinking.
...and then in a split second decision, she began to clean.
It wasn't an overly long cleaning session, mostly just organizing all her folders and stuffing them into wherever she had space.
It was a nice distraction though, gave her time to look back on schoolwork of semesters past...old photos of her friends or long lost high school crushes, even with all the crazy things going on in her life lately, she still had time to be a 16 year old girl.
...But the thought gave her an uneasy feeling. 16? Getting into all this? Hopefully it buzzes over once Tony and Miller have finished their business...thinking of Tony though, he was 11! How did an 11 year old get into debt with the yakuza???
The thought slightly stressed Sparky, but she took a second to even out her breathing.
She kept cleaning in silence but did still find herself thinking about Tony and Miller, and their connections to the yakuza.
To what extent would people try and go after her for this business? I mean she's killed 3 men now. Maybe more if Nenin was to be believed...actually wait, Nenin was her last name!? Why was her assassin form using her last name???
...and then an instinct came to her, a memory.
Sparky ran into her room and began to dig around in her closet.
She pulled out an old looking trunk and opened it.
Inside was some clothing Sparky had never worn, a mask she never bought, and two sai's.
She stared at it quietly....
She closed the trunk and got up. Changing from her comfy clothes into some normal day clothes, and picked up the trunk again, starting to walk out.
But she stopped at the door and looked over to one of her kitchen drawers.
After a bit of contemplation, she walked over and opened the drawer.
Inside was a modernized 1916 pistol, and some mags.
Miller had randomly given it to her one day, for safety.
