It's been a few weeks since sea paw found the old cat ocean star decided to let him stay here for a while until he was better enough to travel back to the wild. Everyone somewhat welcomed him the other gave him weird looks and didn't talk to him but he has not caused any harm for now that is. Ocean star sat laying in her den thinking who could have hurt sand claw or maybe it was a dog she went outside to get some fresh-kill "Morning ocean star!" Ocean star looked at sand claws gaze as he smiled at his fellow leader. Both of them sat down and ate some fresh-kill "do you still not remember what attacked your tail?" Ocean star met his gaze as he tried to think back "honestly no" he took another mouth full of his squirrel " but when I find out they're dead!" He finished his squirrel before going back to his duties "hey wind tail take splash pelt and blaze foot and go on a hunting patrol fresh-kill is low right now" He nodded before walking away.
Nightfall slowly approaches ocean star heads to her dad to get some sleep curled up in her bedding wondering who could've attacked her deputy and if so, why. Ocean star stared into the abyss before slowly, closing her eyes to rest.
Ocean star woke up with a jolt she feels as if star clan sent her a dream last night Confused on what to do she headed to the medicine den to see what she could do
"coral leaf!" Ocean star shouted, looking around, seeing if she would come out of her den Just then she felt a slight shadow come closer she turned around and in shock. Coral leaf was there. " hey ocean star what's up you okay?" Coral leaf look puzzled and confused as to why the leader of ocean clan was here in her den she thought to herself maybe she was getting sick and needed some herbs " star clan sent me a dream last night. Do you know what it means?" coral leaf, who looked rather puzzled and confused, because she herself hasn't gotten any dream from star clan " do you know what the dream was about? Maybe I can see if I know what it means? Ocean star took a deep breath as she carefully said these words "The claw of the talon threatens to rip the Clan apart." Coral leaf looks at Ocean Star, puzzled as to what this could all mean, and if their clan was in danger " what it seems as you got a prophecy, but why? aren't you supposed to get a prophecy when you become a leader?" She looks looks ocean star, who seems quiet, rethinking if ocean star ever got her nine lives or not " that is strange I never got a prophecy when I became leader even though I received all my nine lives!" She hissed in fear and anger " I'm sorry ocean star I don't know what it means yet. Star Clan hasn't sent me any dreams that much lately but I'll let you know if I get one.!" She was about to turn back to her den to see what her apprentice was doing well before she could ocean star spoke " It seems as they hate me as a leader that's why they didn't give me a prophecy.!" She snapped in anger she thought to herself. How could Star clan betray her? She believes in it ever since she was born! Why did they turn on her now especially when she was the leader of ocean clan " look star clan may not be mad at you after all you just got a prophecy so there's not enough information to declare whether they hate you or not!" Ocean star looked away from coral leaf gaze " are you talking back to your leader!" She snapped. Glaring at coral leaf. " no of course not ocean star. I'm just saying we should wait till star clan sends you or me a dream!" Her Apprentice walk out of the den, all happily " silence! I don't believe you for all we know star clan could hate me I don't get why I got prophecy so late leaders are supposed to get there right when they become one!" She hissed in anger unleashing her claws.
"Oh grate star clan pleas help me!" Ocean star whispered "ugh is no use why won't star clan come tell me why I got a prophecy so late!" Ocean star saw her mom who was a Ocean clan leader rain star "Oh mom- I mean rain star please help me!" She gazes at her mom with hope "sharp cat claws emerges into the forest and death will happen!" Rain star whispered "wait what does that men?" Looking at her mom who faded away "rain star!" She yowls "rain star please!" Sand claw appeared in her den " Ocean Star, are you ok?" Sand claw sit's down looking at the helpless leader " yeah I'm fine. I'm just thinking about my mother!" Ocean star didn't meet sand claws gaze for a moment then turned to face him " Oh, what happened? Is your mother ok?" Sand claw stretched, then waited for ocean star to respond. " do you promise not to tell anyone this I trust you sand claw!" Sand claw Gives ocean star, a slight nod " well the thing is my mother's dead She was a leader of ocean clan. Her name was rain star!" Looking down sand claw could feel her anger and sadness " she lost her last life when I was an apprentice Through a battle for territory!" Ocean star Laid down not talking for a moment until she finally spoke again " Then, when I was made deputy, my father died from white cough" send Claude genuinely felt bad for his leader, but he didn't know how to help her. " sometimes they even appear in my dreams." a moment of silence goes by and sand claw decides to leave ocean stars, den and head to the Warriors den to get some rest with the other warriors. Once sand claw left, Ocean star finally closed her eyes with tears flowing down her cheek.
