Rocky paw looked down at the clear blue ocean looking left and right but still nothing .
"Come on rocky paw keep looking I am sure you will pick up something" I meow "ooh I see a fish!" Rocky paw reaches with his right paw scooping up the fish but it slips away and swims back into the ocean.
"It's okay just remember grab the fish quick enough then reach down and scope it with your paws" "okay ocean star I think I can do it this time!" He meows in excitement reaching his paw again the grabbing the fish before dropping it.
"Good job why don't we take that back to camp?" He nods as I lead the way back towards camp walking up the stream then towards the entrance.
Rocky paw places down the fish into the pile of fresh kill other cats started dropping fresh kill into the pile. Looks like most people came from the hunting party and brought back a lot of food to feed the clan. I did see some of the queen and elders take their share of food.
" all right Rocky paw go and get something to eat and rest for the day!" he gives me a slight knob before looking down and grabbing the fish that he caught with Ocean Star he grabbed it and carried it in his mouth. Trotting over to the other apprentices were.
" guys guess what today I went hunting and caught this fish!" All the apprentices gasped as they have never seen a fish this big before rocky paw crouched down and took a bite of the fish.
Ocean Star remembered what her mom has said a few days ago the more the help the more they will disappear she still couldn't figure out what rain star meant was this all something that doesn't mean anything or was it something that was really important.
"Ocean Star quick come here!" Sand claw yelled from the entrance ocean star came running out of her den to meat with him "what is going on!?" She was confused but looked around for any trouble
" dark star is here!" She spat looking festively at dark star who looked worried about something but he seemed to act surprised though so we wouldn't see her as a weakness "what are you doing on our camp go back to your territory!"
"No no can I please talk to ocean star!" Her voice sounded desperate like he really needed to see me "fine but make it quick!" He nods as I lead the way sand claw still watches as he is leave
"What is it hurry up!" Dark Star looks at the floor the back up to my gaze " my cats are dying off!" A moment of silence clears the den then ocean star breaks the silence.
"So this is my problem how?" She froze realizing that it hasn't affected her clan yet "well there is no sickness going around and our pray is just fine!" Ocean star looked puzzled how could this happen there must be something up.
"Our medicine cat doesn't even know what's going on either but there has been strange scents but that's all" ocean star gives her a nod as she leaves back to his territory
Stand claw came sprinting towards me then stomping to catch his breath. "Did he hurt you? Are you okay?" He looked at me to see if I had any scratch marks on me "relax I am fine but she did say something tho..."
"What is it tell me!" He took a deep breath wondering if the news was bad or good and what will the arrest have on us? "She said that her cats are dying off but there is no sickness and there pray is fine but even her medicine cat doesn't know either!" She watched as her deputy's face turned from worried to frightened Did he know something she didn't
"It might be the two legs they always up to something!" He spat in anger then clawing the ground "it may be but I am sure she will bring it up at the best gather for now I will go tell coral leaf maybe she knows!"
"Okay storm tail how much cobwebs do we have?"she replied "umm I think two more!" He nodded before grabbing the poppy seals to bring to shattered eye
"We can get some more cobwebs later for now just see how shattered eye is doing!" She turned to see ocean star "oh hello ocean star how can I help you?" I assume she wants to talk about her prophecy.
"You are never going to guess what dark star told me!"
