Coral leaf had decide for me to stay in her den for a while till I help and rest up from the battle not too long ago. I still feel really weak and look like those old cats on there last legs as I sit on the green moss bed next to the other hurt cats I start to wonder will my life be over?
"Hello ocean star It's time for u to take your medicine!" Storm paw said smiling as he dropped the leafs onto the moss bed
"Ugh I have been taking this medicine every day!" I spat I hate talking this it's so bitter and sometimes make me gage
"If u want to feel better that is now hurry up!" Storm paw padded out of the den and headed to his mentor is
"Hello coral leaf!" Storm paw gave her a slight smile he then looked to see how the med supply was going wondering if it need a refill
"I have some news!" Coral leaf looked exited she knew what was coming for her apprentice
"Oo what is it tell me!" He Looked back at her then shrieked wanting to know what his mentor had to say maybe it was a message for Star clan
"Well you have been an apprentice for six moons and I think it's time for you to get your full medicine cat name!" She knew this was a big moment for him but wasn't sure how ready he was
"I won't let you down coral leaf!" He smiles and jumps almost nocking down the medicine supply "I promise on behalf of Star clan!" He takes a deep breath marking sure he didn't nock anything down
"Okay will we leave at night so I will prepare some traveling herbs" her apprentice nodded before going to heat something from the fresh kill pile "now back to mixing herbs!"she pulled some herbs from the supply and started mixing them together

*at night*
Coral leaf gave me a bag full of traveling herbs I ate then one by one slowly tasting the bitterness stick on my tongue when I finish we head out of the camp hearing cheers for me as I walk out we make our way to forest red's since it's the fastest way padding across the grass feeling the cool breeze brush my fur. As we reach the moonstone I see the other med cats and a dark whole that has two paths.
"Follow me!" Coral leaf leads the way into a dark whole "trust me it's not really dark!" She mumbles when I walk forward I see a giant stone that is glowing with light. I shiver as I don't know what to do but look at the stone the other med cats and apprentices gather around
"I coral leaf,medicine cat of ocean clan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice he has trained hard to understand the ways of a medicine cat, and with your help he will serve his Clan for many moons!" I smile with excitement this is my time to shine "storm paw do you promise to uphold the ways of a medicine cat, to stand apart from rivalry between Clan and Clan and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life?" I take one deep breath I feel all eyes on me
"I do!" Those words echo in my mind "Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your true name as a medicine cat. Storm paw from this moment you will be known as storm pelt. StarClan honors your hard work and we welcome you as a full medicine cat of ocean clan!" I smile as my new name is chanted rock paw and moss both congratulate me on becoming a full medicine cat
Snow leaf come forward as well as crow feather and stump tail "congratulations!" They meow in excitement "you will make a fine med cat!" Stump tail says before walking to meet with moss paw I nod as the other cats leave to go back home.
"Now you sleep next to the moonstone and star clan will share dreams with you!" Storm tail lays down feeling the cold breeze of the cave as he slowly falls asleep "hello?" He says seeing all of these cats talking to him.
Storm pelt woke up looking around seeing if he was back in his cozy moss bad but no he was still in the cave "how was your sleep?" Coral leaf came over still seeing the glowing stone he nodded "now here is something to remember you only share your dreams with the leader and me no one else" i remark yawning as we make our way out of the dark cave.
After a while of traveling we finally make it back to camp and head to the medicine den where ocean star is lying down on her moss bed."hey congrats on becoming a medicine cat!" I say realizing he is not an apprentice anymore and now we have two medicine cats "thanks ocean star my name is now storm pelt!" He meows in excitement he is rests to start beating the best medicine cat he can be.
"all cats old enough to swim and hunt join me at the high rock!" All the cats gathered around the clearing "first its me I am feel little better I will return to my den tomorrow, now we have a new medicine cat he has trained for moons and is now ready to take on the medicine cat duties storm paw is now storm pelt!"
All the cat's chanted his name "storm pelt storm pelt!" He felt a wave of excitement through his fur he was ready to start a new chapter in his life.
