The sun rose over the cloud and filed the den with light Dusk'kit, Lizardkit, Spottedkit, all woke up stretching there little paws looking over still seeing there mother asleep there father comes in. "Morning duskkit lizardkit and spottedkit!" Blaze foot said trotting in the small den "hello blaze foot!" Dusk kit smiled warmly and pressed noses with his father "I bought you guys some fresh-kill!" Blaze foot dropped it from his mouth. All the kits rushed and began eating a mouthful of the squirrel "share that with your mother when she wakes up!" Blaze foot trotted out of the den and back to his duties. Turtle leaf woke up to see her kits just eating the squirrel there dad left. Then she joined them as they all shard a meal. "When will I be an apprentice?" Lizardkit said "soon maybe in a moon or so!" Turtle leaf said truing to her kit who looked unhappy "but I wanna be an apprentice now!" He trotted to his nest where his siblings where "I am sorry it's up to ocean star to decide!" She turns to face her kit that looks sad.
"All cats old enough to hunt and fight join me below the high rock!" Ocean star yelled all the cat gathered into the clearing "sea paw!" Sea paw trotting over to face ocean star "I ocean star leader of ocean clan call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice" she faced sea paw who's tail is flickering "you shall be known as seafang!" Seafang! Seafang! The clan chanted. "River paw!" River paw trotted over to where seafang was sitting then looked at ocean star "I ocean star leader of ocean clan call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice!" River paw gaze lit up when he heard those words "you shall be known as Riverclaw!" Riverclaw! Riverclaw! The cats all chanted as Riverclaw smiled as he was no longer an apprentice but now a warrior! "Meeting dismissed!" Ocean star leaped from her high rock and went back inside her den.
Sand claw came running in the entrance with his patrol right behind him "ocean star!" Ocean star here's her name being called and slowly gets out of her den "what?" Ocean star sees how scared and angry they look " We smelled dark clan sent on our border. It looks like they must've been here!" Sand claw meets ocean stars fierce gaze " did you see any cats?" Ocean star turned to the other cats "no not that we know of" sand claw saw the anger in his leader eyes "we need to organize more border patrols!" She snapped "and go back and reclaim our sent!" She ordered watching as they walked out of the camp.
Ocean Star walked to the medicine den to talk with coral leaf to see if he has anymore answers. The smell of herbs make ocean star's pelt prick she looked over and saw storm paw healing stone paws ear storm paw looks over and sees ocean star standing in the entrance. "Hey ocean star need any herbs?" Ocean star shook her head "oh your hear to see coral leaf I will let you know your here!" She whispered to stone paw that she will be back. A few moments later coral leaf comes out "oh hey ocean star good to see you!" Ocean star presses her muzzle against coral leaf's nose "umm I came here to talk..." coral leaf knew what it was about and told ocean star to sit down "did you get anymore signs?" She looks at coral leaf who is trying to remember "oh yes I saw claw of some sort it looked really sharp and pointy" coral leaf cleared her throat waiting for a response "what did you see who's claw it was!" She shook her hand "Ocean now star go!" Ocean star trotted out of the den and walked to her den .
Ocean star couldn't believe what she just heard it was a sharp pointy claw but she still wonder who's claw it was and if it was even a cat claw. She hard food steps coming from outside "ocean star can I come in?" It was sand claw who spoke out in the clearing "okay" he walked in to say ocean star laying down on her moss "hey just wondering are you okay?" He saw as she looked puzzled for a moment "yeah why?" Why was he asking this does he know something I don't "oh you just have been acting weird lately!" She realized she as been more concerned then ever sand claw left the den thinking she may be lying and there was something going on . Ocean star took a sigh of relief thankfully he doesn't know anything yet what would my clan think of me now? A leader who isn't sure what star clan thinks of me she Slowly sat up and walked outside her den ocean star then walked over to where sand claw was "sand claw I am going to the moonstone tonight you are in charge of watching the clan while I am gone I will be back before sun high!" He fixed his gazed towards ocean star "okay".
the air smelled fresh and cold but she managed to make it to moonstone ocean star laid down slowly falling asleep. She saw her mother rain star "oh mother!" She whimpered "hello dear!" She then saw her father and next to her was her old den mate "will you please tell me why I got a prophecy so late!" She felt worried that something traumatic was gonna happen " because star clan is a little mad at you!" Ocean star felt very confused as to what was going on. She never broke the warrior or did anything wrong. " what do you mean you're mad at me a little I haven't done anything wrong my entire life!" Her old den mate stepped forward " are you sure about that ocean star?" All the cats vanished " we know come back!" it was too late. They've already gone then Ocean star woke up to head back to her camp from the long journey. She got back to the camp, finding everything to be OK. No one was injured and no tax happen while she was gone she said thank you to her deputy for watching the clan and then trotted to the medicine den.
" coral leaf it's an emergency I need to talk to you!" She waited till Coralie finally appeared from mixing herbs " ocean star are you ok? How was your moonstone trip?" Ocean star a sigh before speaking " that's what I came to talk to you about. I had a weird scary dream with star clan!" She hoped coral leaf would give her some answers, but I don't think she knows anything just yet " well what was the dream about? I can't help you if don't tell me!" Ocean throat, took a deep breath, and then opened her mouth " well I was on my father, my mother and my old mates but when I asked why I got prophecy so late, they just said because Starland is a little mad at you"' she wondered if this would be the end for her if there is no way out of this " what did you do to make start clean upset!" She snapped " I didn't do anything!" She knew this was a huge problem, and didn't understand how to fix it. " are you sure you didn't break the warrior code or anything?" Coral leaf wondered if something from her past caused all of this to happen " no what why would I do that?" She snapped in anger " I think I may know what's going on follow me!"
