Ocean star sat on her high rock as she saw all the cats in the clearing "Lizardkit spottedkit duskkit step forward!" As the young kits patted over to the front of the rock they couldn't contain their excitement "duskkit you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as dusk paw!" She nodded as she sat down and heard the clan chatting her name "dusk paw dusk paw!" She looks at the happy newly appointed apprentice "Rain stream , you are ready to take on an apprentice. You have received excellent training from Dead scar, and you have shown yourself to be fierce and brave. You will be the mentor of Dusk paw and I expect you to pass on all you know to dusk paw. "Wind tail, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You have received excellent training from Shattered eye , and you have shown yourself to be strong and swift . You will be the mentor of Lizard paw and I expect you to pass on all you know to Lizard paw. Wind tail trotted over to the young apprentice and touched noses with him. Ocean star realized this was the last kit to be made an apprentice. "Spottedkit you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as spotted paw!" Spotted paw felt happy to be an apprentice she has waited so long for this moment "sand claw, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You have received excellent training from Snow pelt , and you have shown yourself to be brave and fast . You will be the mentor of Spotted paw and I expect you to pass on all you know to spotted paw". Sand claw jumped from the rock and touch noses with his new apprentice "meeting dismissed!" All the cats when back out of clearing.
All the leaders take there place on the high rock mountain star yowls letting the cats know the gathering is starting "mountain clan has been good we have enough prey and we have some exciting news! We have there new warriors and two new apprentice moon furs kits are now apprentices steep paw and deer paw. And misty tail, stone fur, cave pelt, but sadly small claw died during leaf bare!" All the cats went silent In memory of small claw. Wood star cleared his throat before speaking "wood clan is doing great stump tail now has a new apprentice moss paw!" Moss paw smiled as her clan chanted her name "pray is a bit low lately but we are managing." Wood star took a step back as dark clan spoke "dark clan is doing just fine pray is great apprentice training is hoping not to bad I say dark clan is becoming a powerful clan!" Once dark star finished he took a step back and then Ocean star spoke " my clan is doing well. We just had three new kids become apprentices, lizard paw, dusk paw, and spotted paw, and as for me I don't think I'm doing great" all the cats went silent as they looked confused they all seemed to think she looked healthy and fine " I have a suspicion that Star clan hates me. They think I did something that made them angry but I don't know what I did they haven't sent me ore my med cat coral leaf any signs!" Dark star chuckled a little as she saw this with an opportunity of weakness. all the cats for a moment they looked puzzled and trying to figure out what was going on, but they couldn't put their mind to it " I don't know what's going on, but I really need to find out!" She sighed as she took a step back then mountain star looked at ocean star " Ocean star are you sure you should be telling us this kind of information I mean I do feel bad for you, but what if another clan could see that as a weakness!"
Ocean star woke up in her den stretching as she saw coral leaf in the entrance "can I come in?" She nodded as coral leaf padded on and sat down "what is it?" She felt confused as to why she was here so early in the morning "Star clan just gave me a dream!" She realized it was probably related to me "what was the dream about?" They sat there silent for a moment but coral leaf broke the silence "all I saw was a battle, blood, and then a tall fierce strong cat who i think is a Tom!" She stared in horror what could this all mean? "Just after i saw those sharp claws again it slashed something what looked to be a cat then a dark cloud appeared after that i woke up." Ocean star couldn't believe what she was hearing what was the meaning behind this "what if the cat who got slashed is me!" She sat up taking a deep breath as the med cat looked at her in fear "it's ok clam down nothing has happened yet" she smiled warmly at the leader hoping she will be okay "don't tell your leader to clam down!" She snapped in anger as the med cat paused for a second "you know what leave my den at once!" She spat I don't have time to deal with this nonsense. The medicine cat left after what happened.
storm paw came running out of the med den "is ocean star okay?" He looked concerned for his leader and if she was okay " I don't know I think this late prophecy stuff is getting to her head!" She spat they both entered the den with a fish in storm paws mouth "does she complain about it?" He felt bad for his leader he hated seeing the people he loved be hurt "all the time that's the only things she talks to me about!" Coral leaf felt angry and annoyed as she began to eat her fish. All the clan hoped for is that ocean star will be okay but do we really know.
