Her light pink gown mixing with the morning's gentle yellow glow, reminds her spring has come as the life inside begins to show.'
Two years later, you're living together in the massive mansion that Namjoon and his bandmates share. The topic of making your relationship permanent has come up, but he has yet to ask. The others have always been close like brothers, and you were readily accepted into the family as their sister not long after Namjoon asked you to be his girlfriend.
During that time, you have had some significant setbacks in life. Your dad suffered a massive heart attack in his bookbinding room and passed away, and your mom, completely lost without him, sold the bookstore. Six months later, she passed away, some say from a broken heart. Through it all, Namjoon and the others were there for you, and now you need them more than ever.
Namjoon wakes and finds you're sitting on the edge of the bed. He scoots over to your side. He notices you're crying and runs his hand through your hair to move it back from your face.
"Baby, what's . . ." he noticed your hair came out in his hand.
You start sobbing, and that's when he sees your hands in your lap are full of clumps of soft hair.
"Oh, sweetheart, I'm so sorry." He pulls you into his embrace as you sob uncontrollably.
Crying, he holds you till your sobbing is nothing more than sniffles. He lifts your face to his, your cheeks are still wet from tears and he softly caresses them away.
He stands and gently takes your hand, "Let's get you in the shower, and I'll wash your hair." With tears in your eyes, you go with him.
After Namjoon helped you shower, he lovingly held you wrapped in the large fluffy bath towel when you were done. He bought a set and had one embroidered with "Mommy To Be" and the other with "Daddy To Be."
As he sits holding you close, he asks, "Do you want to go out today? The guys are planning a trip to the dog park. We can go watch them play . . . and the dogs too."
You weakly giggle, smiling up at your gentle giant. You wipe your eyes and say, "I would like that."
He's so happy you want to go out. The last couple of weeks have been very hard on you. Not only did you have morning sickness, but the chemotherapy was making you nauseous as well.
He helps you get dressed, and there is a soft knock on the door. He calls out, "Who's there?"
"It's just me. I have something for Hana to eat," Jin replies.
Namjoon looks at you, and you nod, then call out, "Come on in, hyung."
He kisses you on the cheek after setting the tray on the little table near the window.
He notices how thin your hair looks this morning and sees the hair on your pillow. He starts taking off the pillowcases and bed linen while you and Namjoon eat.
"It's laundry day. Just let me get these and start the wash." He keeps his face turned from you, busy with the sheets. He doesn't want you to see that his eyes are blurry with tears that he is struggling to hold back.
You knew it wasn't laundry day, Jin was so sweet, and you softly smiled.
Having regained his composure, Jin calls out, "Jungkook-ah!"
The maknae comes running, asking, "What is it? Is Noona okay?" He looks at you with worry etched on his face.
You comfort him by telling him, "I'm ok, Kookie. Jin wanted you for something."
Jin has his arms full of bed linens, including the comforter. He hands them to Jungkook, "I need you to take these to the laundry room. Oh, and wash the comforter by itself. Thanks, maknae."
Jungkook gladly takes the linens and says, "No problem," and leaves for the laundry room.
You have eaten all you could handle and Namjoon is putting your shoes on for you.
"Baby, you don't have to do that. I can still reach my feet." You tell him then laugh, saying, "For now anyway."
"Just let me help you, baby, ok? I know this morning was difficult for you."
You sigh happily and let your gentle giant take care of you. Jin had gone out of the room and was coming back in with clean linen for the bed. You stand to take it from him, and he pulls it out of your reach.
"No, Hana I will do it."
"Oppa, you don't have to. I can still make a bed."
Namjoon helps Jin make up the king-size bed while you sit and watch the comedy of errors. You can't help but laugh at their antics, trying to get the fitted sheet on the large bed.
Namjoon would pull a corner down, and Jin the opposite, and one of the corners Jin had already done would pop back off, or one Namjoon had done would pop back off.
This ensued for several minutes. Laughing at them, you use your cell phone to text for backup. Taehyung and Jimin come in.
They both tell you, "Good morning," followed up by a kiss on the cheek. They noticed your hair too, but didn't comment on it. They both went to help Jin and Namjoon.
You moved over to the little table and nibbled on some more of the food Jin had brought you. You didn't want to eat but knew the baby took nutrients from your body, so you had to. Fortunately, the anti-nausea medications the doctor gave helped some.
You stayed at the table watching the four of them wrestling the sheets onto the king-sized bed while enjoying their playful bickering.
When they were done making the bed, they all plopped down on it with sighs of relief. You laugh at them.
"It takes four grown men to put sheets on?" you keep laughing, "I'm used to doing it myself."
