"Girl me call Taylor already" Reina assured me.
I had already showered and laid in bed, waiting for my handsome boyfriend to burst through the door, embrace me and fall asleep after telling me about the contents of his day.
"What did she say?" I ask, still hesitant.

"I don't think I can make it" I sigh.

The little voice in my head tells me to just tell her no and go about my night but she speaks up before I could.

I hang up, showering and putting on a sweatsuit and my black sneakers. I already had on a black wig so I just brushed it out. Before I knew it, I was on a taxi to Tawes Pen.
When I arrive, I see Taylor already in a pink bathing suit, playing with Reina's daughter.
"Hey mama" Reina comes to hug me, her tatted hand brushed through my weave.
"Aunty Kay" Reina's daughter, Ari, acknowledges me. She runs from Taylor's arms and leaps into mine.
She was in a mini shorts and a tube top. Ari is two. I try my best to hide my judgement as I held the child.
She takes out a black bathing suit and a black stocking along with a leather skirt and I hurriedly put it on after giving Ari to Taylor.
