To say the last few days have been eventful is an understatement, not that I'm complaining! It hasn't even been that long since I came to Heartland, but I've enjoyed every second of it! Good friends, good food, and best of all, amazing duels! Yuma, Shark, Rio, Kalimba- All of them have been awesome to duel against or see duel! But now isnt the time for dueling. Why?

Because Cathy pulled me along to visit her cat friends. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not scared of cats or anything. I love cats! The reason I'm nervous is because of what Yuma told me about said cats.

*Flashback*

Yuma: YN, if there's one thing I learned about cats and pets over the years I've known Cathy, its this: If they don't like you, then it's most likely true that the owner will start to not like you!

*End of flashback*

Of course, I am taking all that with a grain of salt. It is Yuma after all, and while I love the guy, he isn't exactly Caswell in terms of smarts. I'm sure I can handle it though! They're Cathy's cats, and she's my best friend!

Cathy: Oh YN, I'm really glad you're joining me! The cats are all so excited to meet you, they've been asking me for forever!

YN: Yeah, of course! I'm excited to meet them all! Tori told me they were adorable!

Cathy smiled happily as we walked along, but I couldn't shake this weird feeling that someone else was watching us...I'll just have to keep an eye out.

We got to her house soon enough and my god! Her house is huge! It was like a giant Gothic style mansion!

YN: Are...are you rich?

Cathy: Weeeell, maybe a little!

She winked at me before running inside, to which I happily followed...or was going to before I felt someone grab my shoulder.

???: Hey.

I jumped and, with a yelp, turned around. I saw a boy around my age, wearing a brown cloak that covered most of his body with a mask hiding his face.

???: Duel me.

YN: Oh uh...sorry, I'm actually a bit busy right now...! I was gonna-

Cathy: Quin, you're here!

Cathy called out to this Quin guy from a window above us. I looked up at her, confused.

YN: You know this guy?

Cathy: Yeah, he's a new friend I made in class a couple days ago! He's a really strong duelist, so I invited him over too! I was thinking we could do some dueling here too!

YN: Ooooh...!

I turned to this Quin guy and gave a smile.

YN: Well in that case, nice to meetcha! Names YN!

Quin: Nice to meet you, too.

He gave a small nod before walking inside, me following close behind him.

Inside Cathy's house was beautiful! It didn't have a lot of light, but there was a bunch of cat based art and really nice furniture! Cathy lead us upstairs to these two opposing balconies where we would be dueling.

Quin: YN, I wanna ask again, will you duel me?

YN: Sure, why not! Lets see what you got!
