I didn't really move when Girag got up, I just put my cards away, looking at the ground.

Girag: I...uh...well you beat me. Nice job, I guess.

Yuma: That's not important right now! I have...so many questions! Firstly, YN: Where did you get that number!?

YN: Uh...well...you know how earlier you said that it was Vetrix's number...?

Yuma: Yeah?

YN: Well he's been...visiting me. Not physically, but like...in my dreams. Ever since my first time touching a numbered card, he's been there, talking to me. Every time I would get a number, he would be there in my dreams. Then one night when Shark was spending the night at my place, he appeared again and...handed me number 8. Saying it was a..."final piece" or something like that.

Yuma: Final piece...? For what?

Girag: Who knows, but the real question is why'd Vetrix start visitin' you in the first place?

YN: At first it was to take the numbered cards that I had at the time, but we dueled and he noticed that I wasn't affected the same way others were when using them. He ended up beating me, but when I went to give him the cards, he stopped me. Said I was...exception. I don't know what exactly he meant by that, but...yeah.

Girag: Huh...weird. Whaddabout the number thing, eh? Givin' em to people just t' take them back?

YN: I've never done that! Not...not on purpose at least...

Girag: Lemme guess: Cathy?

I don't speak, just nod, looking down.

Yuma: How did that even happen?

I then explain what happened when Cathy and I went off on our own, telling them about Crown and the game we played, how I got my hands on Zombiestein, giving the other card to Cathy, etc.

YN: I hate to say it, but...I think that other card was number 29 too.

Yuma: Yeesh...that...that's bad. But hey, at least you got it back!

YN: Yeah...well, I'm gonna head home. All this gave me a headache and...I need to think about some stuff.

Yuma: Yeah, that's fair. I'm gonna stay here with Girag, gotta figure some things out. See ya later, YN!

YN: See ya, Yuma.

I left and went home, feeling more stressed out than ever. Someone is accusing me of taking the numbered cards and giving them back, the numbered cards themselves, the fact that they're starting to go for my friends...it's a lot to happen in such a short amount of time. I really need a break...

When I got home, I decided to distract myself by working on my deck. While looking, I saw my Stormdark cards and looked at them for a bit. I did say I don't like how they work, but...they're good cards, and they've helped me out a ton. As I look through them, I see one spell card in particular that interested me.

YN: Rank-Up Magic: Stormdark Knighting. Huh...looks pretty powerful...

I decide to add it to my deck along with a few other new Stormdark cards. After that, I went to bed, hoping tomorrow was a chill day.

The next day, I got up and got ready as usual. I left, heading to school, and as I did I saw Shark. He looked a lot more agitated then usual...
