(Your POV)

I honestly don't remember how long I ran for before stopping, but it was a while. I flopped onto a bench when I realized just how tired I was, panting as I slowly sat back up, sitting properly. This couldn't get any worse...they all think I'm some number-planting madman that lets numbers corrupt him...

YN: Why is any of this happening...?

I ask myself, taking my deck box out and taking my numbered cards out, staring at them.

YN: Why are you even here...? What are these memories you keep giving me? What is up with any of this?

???: Y'know, talking to cards isn't exactly somethin' people do out in the open.

I jump and turn around, seeing a familiar face smiling at me.

YN: Kalimba?

Kalimba: Hey! YN, right? What's got you all mopey today?

I hesitate to tell him, seeing as he probably wouldn't believe a lot of it.

YN: Just...some stuff going on with my friends. This one guy's going around saying I'm doing stuff that I'm not, people are believing him, and...I basically screwed up and made them think that I did it even more cause I lost control.

Kalimba sat next to me, whistling.

Kalimba: Yeesh, sorry to hear that man. I know from experience that rumors targeting you that aren't even true suck.

YN: Yeah...what happened to you?

Kalimba: I was accused of being a cheater in this duelist tournament I was in a few years ago. They said cause I keep drawing cards I needed right at the moment I need em, I was cheating which...just isn't true. I spent months making sure my Tiki deck was as good as it could possibly be, so of course I'm gonna be able to do something with every card I draw.

YN: Heh, I hear ya. Some people just hate when a strategy falls flat.

Kalimba: Yeah, definitely...hey, I got a spot I like to hang out at nearby. You wanna join? Better than sitting doing nothing.

YN: Oh, uh...y'know what, I'll take you up on that.

We both stand up and Kalimba excitedly takes me to an alley way a bit away from the center of Heartland, lifting up a storm drain.

Kalimba: Welp, after you!

YN: Uh...you sure? This doesn't exactly seem...sanitary.

Kalimba: It's fine, trust me! I've been hanging down there ever since I first got here!

YN: Well...if you say so...

I look down and jump, falling and landing in a room with cards all over the place. Kalimba lands next to me and walks deeper, me following him. After a few minutes, we get to a room with an empty throne in the middle and a few familiar faces.

YN: Crown? Quin? Kona?

The three were all sitting on an old couch, looking over to Kalimba and I.

Crown: Took you long enough, Kalimba.

Kona: Seriously, we've been waiting here for hours.

Kalimba laughed.

Kalimba: Sorry guys, had a hard time looking for him! But hey, he's here now!

Quin nodded, getting up and walking over.

Quin: It's nice to see you again, YN. I've been looking forward to seeing you.

YN: Right, um...nice to see you too. What's going on here though?
