Lady Bella Ricci was born in Siena, she lived a simple live during that time and was highly educated. Her family, her dad Lorenzo Ricci Count of the Duchy of Tuscany and her mother Countess Adelina Donella lived in a mansion in Siena. They were an aristocratic family and were a well-known and valued family.
Bella was considered as the beautifulest girl of Siena, she had long blond curly hair and blue eyes. She was very smart loved to read, to spend time with her horse Moonstone and she was highly interested in fashion.
For Bella's parents her education was the most important thing, she was learned in languages, history, cultures and business. Besides that Bella was a really nice and loving girl. She loved to help the people in Siena, she brought food to the poor and taught children to write and read.
But she also had her character and would never let anyone walk all over her, she was just like her dad, she was kind hearted but still had a strong character. She knew how to use her charm and to get what she wanted, she was loyal and kept her word. She also had her boundaries and knew what she deserved.
In 1864 when Bella turned 18 her parents send her to America, Mystic Falls for some family business and to educate her more about different countries and cultures. She would definitely miss her parents but she was also determined to do that what she was sent for.
Bella's parents knew the Salvatore family and made already business with them in the past as Lorenzo heard of Guiseppe Salvatore death he was shocked of the sudden loss of his dear friend. He used to meet Guiseppe a lot in Italy when he came to visit the count. He never met the Salvatore brothers but after thinking of his dear friend, he trusted them enough to send Bella off to them. Stefan stayed in contact with Lorenzo and Lorenzo really liked him he taught that his daughter would win the brothers over with her charm to get them to sell a part of their company to him.
When Bella travels in first class with the boat, she had her horse with her which obviously traveled in the third class. She would never have done it without Moonstone and she missed him so much that she went down to go and see him. On her way down the stairs, she meets a friend of Lorenzo, Enrico Vittore a lawyer her dad knows very well.
"Hello Lady Bella" Enrico said.
"Hello Mr. Vittore" Bella replied.
