The next morning Bella woke up due to the sunlight shining through her window. It literally burnt her skin, she got up and ran to the shadow. Bella thought to herself "I want to get to Moonstone I miss him so much I could cry".
She got dressed, made herself ready and was down her way to the third class again, luckily umbrellas were used to block off the sun so she wouldn't get burnt on her way down.
When she got down, she almost bumped into a young woman "I know you are a vampire and I know who you are Lady Bella" the woman answered.
Bella's heart skipped a beat as she locked eyes with the young woman who seemingly saw through her newfound secret. A mixture of fear and curiosity flickered in the stranger's gaze.
"You're not the only one," the woman continued, her tone a conspiratorial whisper. "There are others on this ship, creatures of the night. They've live in the shadows, hidden from the world, not all of them though. But something has changed."
Bella, taken aback, furrowed her brow. "Changed? What do you mean?"
The mysterious woman cast a glance over her shoulder, ensuring no one else was near. "There's a presence, a darkness awakening. It's drawn us together. You'll understand soon enough, Lady Bella. The night holds more secrets than you can fathom."
"You can't walk in the sun right ? I can help you but you have to do me a favour instead"
Bella was confused yet wanted her help desperately "What's the favour ?" Bella asked. "I'm a witch I can make you a daylight bracelet but I need an occupation. Do you already have a maid Lady Bella ? I haven't seen you with anyone" the young woman asked.
Bella considered the woman's proposition, her mind entangled in the complex web of supernatural secrets that seemed to envelope her. The prospect of a daylight bracelet was tantalizing, a chance to reclaim a semblance of normalcy in the waking hours.
"I don't have a maid," Bella admitted. "But I need more information. What kind of occupation are you seeking, and why does it involve me?"
The witch studied Bella with an intensity that sent shivers down her spine. "I need access to certain areas of the ship, places not easily reached. Your position could grant me that, Lady Bella. In return, you'll have the means to walk freely under the sun."
Bella, torn between the desire for sunlight and the uncharted pact with this mysterious woman, hesitated before uttering, "Deal. But tell me your name, and why you're here. What is this darkness you spoke of?"
"My names Celeste Harper and my intuition brought me here, I haven't fully figured out what's happening but I'm going to figure it out" Celeste replied.
Bella looked at her with mistrust "Why does it involve me and are you planning to stay with me after we have arrived ?"
Celeste met Bella's gaze with a calm certainty, her eyes reflecting a depth of knowledge that piqued Bella's curiosity.
"I've sensed a convergence of energies, Lady Bella. Mystic Falls holds a power, and it's drawing those attuned to the mystical. As for you, your journey has just begun. We might find answers together," Celeste explained, her tone measured yet cryptic.
Celeste looked at Bella "You have changed, you are a vampire now, I can help you, I have known vampires my whole life. I'm planning to stay with you Lady Bella if you don't mind. I simply need an occupation but I'd never harm you, that would be very stupid since you could kill me in five seconds. Considering mystic falls, what do you want to do there ?"
Bella, grappling with her newfound reality, regarded Celeste with a mixture of vulnerability and curiosity. The offer of help tempered her initial mistrust, and she pondered the implications of embracing this alliance.
"I don't fully understand what's happening to me," Bella admitted, a hint of uncertainty in her voice. "If you can help, I appreciate it. As for Mystic Falls, we're meeting with Stefan and Damon Salvatore for business related to my father's interests."
She hesitated for a moment before adding, "You can stay with me, Celeste, and help me understand this world that seems to have entwined with my own."
"There is a rumor going on, that the Salvatore brothers have changed since the death of their father and that they have become vampires Lady Bella." Celeste added.
Bella's eyes widened at Celeste's revelation. The pieces of the supernatural puzzle began to fall into place, and the shadows that clung to the Salvatore brothers' reputation now had a distinct form.
"Vampires?" Bella echoed
