Enrico enjoyed seeing Bella "I heard you are going to Mystic Falls for your dad's business" he said. "Yes I'm determined to get it done the way daddy wishes for" she answered.Enrico nodded, a thoughtful gleam in his eyes. "Your father has always been meticulous in his dealings. It's a commendable approach. Mystic Falls is a place of both mystery and opportunity. Embrace the journey, Lady Bella, and you may uncover more than you anticipate."
Bella met his gaze, a mix of determination and curiosity in her eyes. "I'm ready for whatever awaits me, Mr. Vittoire. My father's trust means everything to me."
"We should go and eat now Bella" Enrico said smiling and they went off to eat at the restaurant of the boat.
Bella returned Enrico's smile, appreciating the chance to share a meal with a familiar face amidst the vastness of the sea. As they entered the boat's restaurant, the gentle sway of the vessel accompanied their steps.
Seated by a window with a view of the ocean, they engaged in casual conversation, discussing their expectations for the journey and the intriguing prospects awaiting Bella in Mystic Falls. The scent of the sea breeze and the hum of the ship's engines created an ambiance of anticipation as the evening continued.
When Bella decided to go to bed, she decided to go to down to the third class tomorrow morning and to visit moonstone, she missed him.
The next morning, as the sun kissed the horizon, Bella descended to the third class with a sense of purpose. She navigated through the ship's passages until she reached Moonstone's quarter. The anticipation of reuniting with her loyal companion filled her with warmth.
The moment when Bella tried to open Moonstones stable door she heard something. A man approached her and told her "Don't be afraid and don't make a noise" and he bit her. Bella went unconscious and the man scared away he thought "What did I just do ?! Shes going to die!! I have to give her my blood!" And so he did and ran away. Shortly after that Bella died with vampire blood in her organism.
Bella woke up at night, she felt bad but also weird, she was hungry and didn't know where she was. When she remembered she was in the third class and saw her horse, she could hear his blood, she was scared yet so confused why she could hear that. The haunting echo of her heightened senses overwhelmed her, leading her down a path both unfamiliar and unsettling. When faced with her horse, Moonstone, the rhythmic pulse of his blood echoed through her consciousness, leaving her in a state of confusion and fear. She decided to walk away and to go up to her room again. But when she saw a young man walking there she became so hungry, she heard his blood and his heartbeat trough his whole body, she came from behind and bit his neck until his heart stopped, Bella couldn't stop herself. She thought "Oh my God! I killed him and I drank his blood! What the hell is happening ?! I have to get up and to get changed before anyone takes notice."
As Bella's body absorbed the transformative essence of vampire blood, a delicate yet powerful metamorphosis began. Unbeknownst to her, the echo of immortality coursed through her veins. The ship sailed through the night, carrying Bella into an unforeseen chapter of her existence.
She tried going back to her room, on her way up the stairs she tried to hear if anyone's walking there and she noticed she can hear more than she could before, she heard literally everything. She managed to get there without being seen by anyone and was relived to be in her room behind closes doors.
In the sanctuary of her room, behind closed doors, Bella grappled with the intensity of her newfound senses. The haunting echoes of footsteps in the corridor, the distant whispers of conversations, and the rhythmic beats of hearts outside her window overwhelmed her.
As she gazed into the mirror, the reflection staring back at her held an air of mystery. Something indefinable had changed, both within and around her. The hunger she felt earlier lingered, but it was coupled with an acute awareness of the world beyond her chamber.
Fingers trembling, Bella began to change into a gown she had chosen for the night. With each delicate movement, she pondered the implications of her unsettling encounter with the young man. A profound realization dawned upon her — she had entered a realm where shadows whispered secrets, and her senses held the power to reveal hidden truths.
She felt weird yet still the same, all her feelings were more intense. She decided to get ready to go to bed, when suddenly it knocked on her door. She opened the door "Good evening Lady Bella, I have bad news. Someone on this ship died and it looks like... like a, normally they would say it was an animal bite but since no animals of this kind are on board it looks like a vampire killed a young man."
Bella's heart skipped a beat at the news, her newfound senses heightening the gravity of the situation. A chill ran down her spine as the reality of the young man's demise settled over her. She feigned a composed demeanor, hiding the turmoil within.
"Vampire," she repeated, the word lingering in the air. A veil of apprehension clouded her features, though she maintained a facade of innocence. "How... how dreadful. Is there any speculation about who might have done such a thing?"
Enrico, a look of concern etched on his face, shook his head. "No leads yet, Lady Bella. But we're investigating. It's a mystery we've never encountered before."
"I have to go to the bathroom" Bella replied. She felt hungry, very hungry. As she looked in the mirror and saw veins under her eyes, her eyes were red and her teeth had grown. Alone in the bathroom, Bella confronted the startling transformation reflected in the mirror. Her eyes, once vibrant, now radiated an otherworldly red hue. The veins beneath her eyes spoke of a darkness awakening within her. A chilling realization gripped her — she had become something beyond the realm of the living.
The hunger that gnawed at her intensified, a relentless craving that echoed through her veins. Bella clutched the sides of the sink, her mind swirling with a torrent of questions. A soft knock on the door interrupted her thoughts.
"Lady Bella, are you alright?" Enrico's voice called from the other side.
"I... I'm fine," she stammered, her gaze fixed on the distorted reflection before her. "Just a moment, Mr. Vittoire."
As Enrico's footsteps faded away, Bella grappled with the newfound reality that had taken hold of her.
