Tell me you want me
Speechless and I'm shaking
Tell me you need me
You better believe me when I say that you are my weakness
You are my weakness and you get me every time
- My Weakness by Kris Allen

When I woke up, Dick was still sleeping beside me. And although I was glad, I also realized I was getting too attached.

Which was bad.

Slowly climbing out of bed so as not to wake him, I headed to the bathroom for a shower. I didn't really know the time, or if we were near to our destination. I made a mental note to check both after I got dressed. Since last night's whole ordeal was over, my head seemed a lot clearer. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Why did I tell Dick all of that? I didn't need this. I couldn't get attached. It was dangerous to catch feelings for someone in my line of work. It would be a weakness. They would use him to get to me.

Suddenly feeling cold even with the hot water pouring over me, I shut off the shower. Once I stepped out of the cubicle and dried myself, only then did I remember I hadn't brought any clothes with me. Quietly opening the door, I peeked to make sure that Dick was still as I left him. His soft snores met my ears, and I thankfully tiptoed into the room. Clutching the towel to my chest, I rummaged around in my bag for a change of clothes. I was done and straightening up when a voice made me freeze.

"This isn't such a bad view to wake up to." I slowly turned towards the bed already knowing what I'd find. Dick sat in bed, his hair ruffled from sleep... and he was shirtless. Ovary. Explosion. Get a grip, Asteria. This is bad, remember?

"Don't you own a shirt?" I snapped, though I was having difficulty tearing my eyes away from his defined chest and sculpted abdomen.

Dick smirked, annoyingly cheerful and alert for someone who just woke up. "I do, but it got a bit uncomfortable last night. I took it off."

I rolled my eyes. "It's a wonder you didn't wake me up."

"I think you were too comfortable sleeping beside me," he replied with a wink.

"Arrogant asshole," I grumbled.

Dick just chuckled, seeming to be in a very good mood. Looks like I wasn't the only one who got a good night's sleep. "So are you going to be in a towel the whole day? Because I really don't mind. I'm just saying."

I felt my cheeks flush at the statement as I marched to the bathroom, my clothes in hand. All the while I was grumbling angrily under my breath, plotting ways to kill off the boy laughing in bed. I slammed the door shut, making him laugh longer. I dressed hastily, tugging on my clothes with stiff movements. Gah, what do I even see in him? He annoys the hell out of me.

But he also cares a lot, a different voice in my head said. And for some reason, he can break through your walls.

Not helping, I told the voice. I was going crazy. When I was done dressing, I walked back into the room to find Dick gone. Punching in the code for the door, it slid open and I walked out into the short and narrow hallway. Following it to the end, I reached the bridge where Dick was already dressed and eating a sandwich.

I took a seat beside him, and he slid me a plate. Another sandwich was on it, and I happily took it. As I munched on the delicious food Alfred had prepared and packed for us, I turned to ask Dick the questions I had when I woke up. "What time is it?"

"In this timezone, it's just around seven in the morning," he replied, also through a mouthful of sandwich. I forgot about that bad habit of his.

"In this timezone?" I echoed. "Does that mean we're close?"

Dick nodded. "We'll be landing in ten minutes."
