This chapter is dedicated to Katerina_Riley2001 because I remember that she was also one of the first people to actually check out and comment on my book. She also wrote a fanfic about Damian, entitled 'Little Todd'. I'm kinda sad its not in her works anymore, but she started a new book and you guys should totes check it out 'cause it also seems interesting. :) <3

You look so perfect standing there

In my American Apparel underwear

And I know now, that I'm so down

Your lipstick stain is a work of art

I got your name tattooed in an arrow heart

And I know now, that I'm so down (hey!)

Dick's POV

Kissing Asteria was different from any other kiss I've ever had. For all the strength she possessed, I knew I had to be gentle with her. Careful. She had never let anyone else get this close to her, and that was a privilege and honor she gave me. I had to make sure I didn't do anything to make her regret it. But damn, it was so hard. Especially when I wanted her so much.

After I removed her shirt, the rest of our clothes followed suit. It was the first time I could completely see all of her- when she didn't hide anything from me. And every part of her was beautiful. Especially her scars. I kissed each one of them, letting her know she should never ever be ashamed of them. I heard her sharp intake of breath as she told me she did trust me. Then she laid back in bed and let me kiss the rest of her body.

She gasped when I moved lower, kissing past her stomach. Her grey eyes met mine in shock, and I smiled at her before going back to my trail. She squirmed underneath me, probably not used to the sensations she was feeling. Then I went back to kissing her lips, which had to be the best part. She kissed me back, her hands running through my hair and driving me crazy. She moaned, and my body reacted to it... way down there.

I couldn't keep my hands off of her. It was like I needed to be touching her every second, or this fire I felt inside of me would burn out. I knew this could well be our last night together, before I saw her for a long time again. And I'd be damned if all we did was talk.

We rolled around in bed, and she ended up on top of me. Her hair fell like a curtain, hiding us from the rest of the world. I wish it could also hide us from Talia, so that she wouldn't have to be taken away from me. But I knew she also knew she had made her own decisions. I watched her as she smiled and ran her hands over my chest and my stomach, making my muscles tense with her touch. She smiled at how I reacted before leaning down to kiss me again, and it was a long time before we went up for air.

I rolled us over again, so that I could be on top. She moaned beneath me again, and when I pulled away she whispered my name softly. "This is going to hurt," I warned her. She gave me a smile and raised her eyebrow. Cheeky. I forgot I was dealing with a highly trained assassin, who also had an equally high pain threshold. Stupid to warn her it would hurt. But eh. I slowly eased my way into her, and she gasped again. Shutting her eyes in ecstasy as her back arched off the bed. I made sure to move slowly, so as not to hurt her. God she was beautiful. She moaned again, making me speed up a little.

And I smiled because I knew this was definitely a night I would never make her forget.

It was a few hours later, when we were both completely exhausted and we just laid in my bed, that we talked again. She was snuggled against my chest, like she'd been in the hospital. Her hand was idly tracing circles on my skin, as if even now she didn't want a part of us left unconnected. I stroked her hair slowly, just listening to her calm breathing, while I stared at the ceiling. "Thank you," she spoke softly.
