The Feeling I Cant Deny

Alex POV

I got home from school at around 5. Mum wasnt home yet and my 2 brothers are probably out playing soccer, I should probably join them later.

Hmmm what can I say about myself my dad died when my youngest brother was still in my mothers womb. He got shot by our rival gang while he was dealing drugs in their side of the town. I am the oldest out of the three brothers and the most responsible probably. My mum works all day long 6 days a week so we never have money problems. I help out with money sometimes if the gang has a job for me to do like threatening someone or get money off someone who has a loan to pay off, I am the man. I just dont do shit like drug dealing seeing as my pa died because of it so i aint into that shit. But threatening people woah thats my shit and not being cocky or anything but everyone probably knows its my shit. 

My two brothers, my younger one Emilio who is about 7 and Xavier my 14 year old brother. I am pretty tight with them and try not to get them involved into this whole gang shit. I want them to live without the fear of police trying to get at you any chance they get just cause you live in the shitty part of the town. 

Seeing as i had nothing better to do I went outside to the backstreet to see small groups of teens and chinldren playing football while the others watched. My brothers were amongst the crowed. Enrique was there with Rey, huh Rey our gangs lets say controller. He isnt the leader but he is almost second in command he earned his respect in the gang by shooting 3 guys from the rival gang 2 years ago while he was dealing. He got away from that easy instead police were knocking in all our doors tryna pin point it at us. I havent got a problem with him or anything but i  aint getting close to him, he has been trying to get me to deal drugs since i was 15 but i've always refused, so i kinda hate talking to this guy. Enrique looked uncomfertable around him and i dont blame him, Rey was a bit unpredictable at times once a guy dint come to our gang meeting in time and he got 20 beats from Rey, he was harsh. 

"Alex my man, how was school" Rey shouted with a sly smile as soon as he saw me. "Same old, same old Rey" I said sternly. "So any new chica's(girls) around" he asked, horny bastard. "Uh no one eyecatching" I said while tring to concentrate on the soccer match going on. What a lie I thought to myself 'noone eyecatching' infact I did see someone eyecatching but noway i was gonna tell the horny bastard. Ellie Spears that girl suprisingly has ticked a sudden intrest upon me. The way she blushes and is shy, the way she can hold her ground and how perfect she seems to everyone  nd when you look into her eyes she seems distanced and hurt. I have never really been the type of guy with a stable relationship I am more of a guy who see's a girl likes her body and bangs her next day i see another girl see's a girl with a nice body and bangs her and the cycle goes on and on. Never have i really wanted to know a girl make her feel loved and seek for an excuse to protect her. 

She seemed so much more interesting, hmm maybe i can make a new mission to get on her nerves, my thought got disturbed by a loud shot. It was a gun. OH SHIT! Everyone ran inside. I made sure Xavier and Emilio were inside "Dont you dare come outta the house unless i am there okay" I demanded to Xav and Emilio. They both nodded and ran. I got my gun outta my trousers and followed Rey and Enrique of where we heard the shot with other members following close behind.

Shit like this always happened in this neighbourhood, rivals trying to get to our territory to deal drugs or tryna start a fight just cause they got bored or wanted a thrill. "Oh for fuck sake, the pussy's are gone they just did it to scare us. FALSE ALARM EVERYONE but still be careful"Rey boomed to everyone. Everyone nodded. Me, Rey, Enrique and some of the others stayed behind to make sure they werent up to no shit. Once everything was clear i went back home, i needed a smoke. I got inside and shouted "FALSE ALARM" . My mum was back and was making dinner. "Alex, baby you needa be carefull, I dont want anything ahppening to you" she said with a hint of sadnessin her tone. "Dont worry you know i am doing this to protect all of us and keep my fathers name up and for the extra cash" I said. She seemed soo upset but i just need Xavier to tell the family something stupid he did today to cheer everyone up.
