Captain Hydra moved back. Arianna felt cold without him so close. Her nipples brushed the inside of her bra, aching. She wanted his touch back. She was falling down the rabbit hole fast and she needed to find a way to stop.

"Any questions before I take you to our room?" he asked.

Our room? Why did that excite her? It should terrify her! But this was also Steve Rogers, the man everyone could rely on, who would never abandon those he cared for. Did she fall into that category? They only met once, the day before Thanos attacked the Avengers compound and two days before he went back in time.

"Why me?" she inquired, fighting everything in her body to beg for his fingers to roam over her body. "Out of everyone in the world, I was kidnapped. Why?"

"Partially as a message to Stark," he admitted. "We know he's alive and looking for you." He came in close, his lips skimming her neck and his rough beard sending goosebumps along her skin. "The other part is because I broke the rules for you. As a soldier, I know better, but I had to have you, princess."

His hand moved up her side to cup her breast, the other went down to grip her ass and pulled her close. He was so big and she could feel he wasn't even hard yet. He was practically assaulting her, and yet, her panties were becoming soaked. Why did she enjoy this so much? Was she a sadist? Or a masochist?

"What makes me so special?" she said breathlessly.

He sighed and pulled back again. She had to bite back a whine. God, this man knew what he was doing and it was working.

"You're the only thing I remember from before HYDRA," he said.

Whatever wire that had come loose before snapped back into place for a moment. How could she be the only thing he remembered? From a few hours of talking? A blind date that would hold the record for the most awkward in all of human history?

"Did we actually meet before?" he continued, now sounding like the other interrogators. "I'll know if you're lying. I studied you before bringing you home."

Home? This wasn't home. This was a hell. A beautiful hell if the man in front of her was anything to go by, but hell nonetheless.

"Natasha Romanoff set us up as a blind date," she said, deciding honesty was the best policy, "back when you were Captain America."

His head snapped to look at her, testing her as he said, "I was never Captain America. You're lying."

"You're name is Steve Rogers and-" Slap! "No talking of the past. Got it."

Something in him changed as she looked at him. He believed her. Or starting to at the very least.

"So, what do I call you?" she asked.

He smirked. Oh God, he smirked and she found the floodgates opening again. This darker version of America's Golden Boy had her practically dripping. Her breasts heaved as he stepped close again, this time, his hand going to her neck. He made her look at him. He wasn't cutting off her air supply, but there was just enough pressure to send another wave of juices flowing so that they started to dribble down her shaking legs.

"You can call me Captain or Sir," he instructed.

Under her breath, the wire disconnecting again, she said, "Holy fuck!" She looked at him, licking her lips. "Yes, sir."

His lips hovered over hers. "Good girl," her thighs clenched and a soft moan escaped before she could stop it, "but we haven't broken you yet." His thumb played over her lush lips and his free hand cupped her sensitive womanhood through her damp jeans. "We'll work up to you screaming for me soon enough, princess."

Once again, he moved away. She had enough of his teasing. If Captain Hydra wasn't going to fuck her, she'd find a way to get Steve back and get them both out of there.

-----

He unchained her from the wall. She rubbed her wrists and got the blood flowing again as she sagged against the wall behind her. She needed to be steady.

"Let's go," he ordered.

She moved up to him, saying, "I'm really sorry about this."

Then, she punched him as hard as she could. She felt a bone crack, if not break as her fist landed on the side of his face. His head snapped sideways, but he shook it off. He pushed her away from him and into the wall hard. She gasped in pain.

"Still too soon," he growled, grabbing her hand to chain her up again.

"I really thought that would work," she said before letting out another gasp. "Watch the hand!"

She felt hopelessness start to take hold as he took her other hand. He was a super soldier. Of course, her attack wouldn't work.

"It did," he whispered when he was close.

She hissed back, "Then why are you tying me up again? Let's get out of here!"

Tears formed in his eyes. "I've been trying for five years, Ari. All I can say is I'm sorry for what's coming."

"It's not your fault, Steve." She had to comfort him, let him know she didn't blame him. "I'll play nice for Captain Hydra, I'll help, but you can't give up. Okay?"

He gave her a look that said everything. He wasn't in control any more than Bucky had been so long ago. That's when a thought hit her.

"Wait," she asked in a soft tone, "how can I trust you?"

He gave her a sad smile before placing a soft kiss on her lips. It sent warmth through her. It told her everything. She had to trust him because he couldn't keep anything from her, not when he was so open. He placed his forehead to hers.

Then, he whispered, "I should have done that after our date."

She smiled at him and said quietly, "Better late than never."

She went to give him another kiss when the doors burst open. He turned to keep the agents away from her, but there were too many for him alone, especially since he was protecting her. One of them pulled out a syringe and inserted it into his neck. He collapsed to the floor and they dragged him from the room.

"Leave him alone!" she yelled, fighting her restraints.

The woman from before came in and Arianna's chains slacked enough for her to fall to her knees. The woman grabbed her face.

"You should have thought about that before unlocking his memories," the high society hag said. "Enjoy the music."

As the woman left, an intercom system turned on. There were no sounds other than Steve's tortured screams as they wiped his memories. Arianna covered her mouth, bawling. As she stared at the box on the wall in horror, several men came in after ten minutes.

"Another gift from Countess Valentina de la Fontaine," one said.

She couldn't move fast enough before their fists connected to her face and their boots to her body. As Steve screamed, so did Arianna.
