Arianna asked, "Do you have a better plan?"

Steve looked down, pouring himself another drink. Of course, he didn't have a better idea. There weren't any. They only got worse from there.

Tony said, "Shuri can take a blood sample and we can look to see if there are nanites."

It was the best they could get without endangering Arianna. That didn't mean that Steve had to like any of it. He hated that he had ever put the woman he loved in this situation, brainwashed or not.

"I can help," Morgan chimed in. "My school lets me use the high res micro-"

"No offense, kid," Steve said in annoyance, "but it's best you stay out of this and let the adults work."

Not liking how the other super soldier was talking to his daughter, Bucky said, "Don't talk to her like she's stupid."

Steve sighed. "That's not what I was meaning. I just want her to stay safe."

While Bucky could appreciate his friend caring about Morgan, that didn't give him the right to treat her as less capable than them. "Don't ever talk to her like that again, Rogers."

Steve sat back. "God, you're annoying in parent mode, Barnes."

Morgan grabbed a juice pop from the minifridge and began eating on it before continuing, "As I was saying, the high res microscope is great, but we need something more powerful."

When Morgan looked at him, Steve smirked. "Or someone who can shrink. Good work, kid."

Shiri gave her niece a proud smile as she added, "I like the way Little Wolf thinks."

Bucky rolled his eyes and said, "Now, if only the school felt the same way."
