After about four hours of everyone waiting, Scott finally returned to normal size. He lifted his helmet to look at every one.
"So, you'll never guess what I found," he said, almost in a singsong voice.
"A brain?" Sam asked.
"Why do you hate me?"
Bucky let his irritation show as he inquired, "Scott, what did you find?"
The man in question let his face fall, losing all pretense of teasing since it didn't look like lightening the mood would go over well. "Nothing. Just her normal cells. Sorry, guys."
Shuri replied, "If you're sure something is there, just keep an eye out."
Arianna elbowed Steve who sighed and said, "Thanks for looking, though."
The thought of showing appreciation to the man who came up with time travel as an idea irritated Steve. He wouldn't have said anything if Arianna hadn't of made him. He felt that Scott was at least partially responsible for his predicament since it was the half-wit's idea.
Shuri smiled and said, "No problem, Brave Bear."
Hearing his new name put Steve at ease. It showed that he had survived and there was only one more tie to cut before he was free from HYDRA.
"What if it's not in her blood but blends in with her natural tissue?" Bucky asked.
Arianna said, "It would take too long for Scott to search my entire body, and if he were to grow suddenly while inside-"
Sam sang, "Pop goes the weasel!"
"That's gross, Sam," Freddie said.
Morgan then replied, "But accurate. What now?"
"For now," Tony answered, "Shuri and I work on finding a way to remove the nanites from Capsicle."
Seeing Steve stiffen at the name, irritation mixing with regret and pain playing on his face, Arianna said, "You kids explore Wakanda without causing problems, and the rest of us will plan our next move."
Morgan laughed, "Sure thing, Aunt Ari."
Sam and Freddie shared a look, drinking their sodas to try and stall. They knew that trouble seemed to follow them. If it wasn't people trying to get close to Morgan for her web show, it was because she was the daughter of two Avengers. Sam just didn't have a problem starting trouble to keep Morgan safe, even if it caused chaos.
