I woke up next to Rafe and just stared at his sleeping figure, my mind brought me to the time Rafe and I talked about our future when we were younger.

Flashback

"I see a dog." "I see- uh I see blobs." I rolled my eyes at his answer and chuckled "Rafe, what do you think our lives will be like? You know, when we're older."

"Well I see you being by my side and maybe even one day we'll both be working with our fathers." Rafe said and I smiled "I think I like that future." I told him and then thought about my past. What if I end up like my father?

"Hey, you okay?" He asked and I sighed "Yeah, I'm okay." I said turning my head and Rafe was inches away from my face. "I love you." He muttered and I was caught off guard, Rafe leaned in kissing me softly. "I- I love you too." I chuckled then kissed his nose.

Present time

"Like what you see?" Rafe mumbled and I chuckled "I like watching you sleep." I told him and he rolled in the bed pulling me closer to him and I nuzzled my head on his chest. "Said any crazy stalker ever." "I'm not crazy..." I muttered as my face dropped but I shook off the feeling. "You just look peaceful sleeping, that's all." I said looking in his eyes then sighed "So what's on the agenda for today? Besides our appointment." I asked and Rafe sighed "Well I want to buy my girl something nice." Rafe said and I smirked.

"What did you have in mind?" I asked and he smirked "I don't know what ever you want... a dress." "You want to go dress shopping? Rafe, remember my freshman year? You literally had a full on tantrum when Rose dragged you with me, Sarah and Scarlet!" I said leaning up on the bed and looking down at him as he shrugged. "Well before I was an idiot..." Rafe said and I nodded, suddenly Rafe rolled us over so he was on top. "Now, I want to make sure my girl is treated like a queen." He finished making me laugh. "Well okay... can you get off me, please? I need to take a shower." I told him and he nodded.

I made sure the gold was good to go before I traded it for the money, I smiled to myself because Liv was finally mine.

"Hey, bud." I heard and I turned to see my father and I frowned "Dad... What the hell are you doing here?" I asked and he shrugged "I could see you were in over your head, so I came back to help you." he told me and I frowned then looked at the bathroom to see Liv was still inside.

"You wanna help?"

"Yeah."

I nodded then sighed.

"Leave. You can't be here." I told him and he nodded "I know you stole the cross, Rafe." He said and I tried to play it cool but he wasn't buying it. "Now, come on. Rafe. You were tired of living in my shadow. And you felt like I overstepped." he told me and I smirked.

"By giving away something of mine. Why would I think that?" I shrugged and my dad nodded.

"You were right. I should've talked to you before I donated it. You deserve that."

"Yeah. You should have." I said looking back at the bathroom door again.

"You're right. That was my mistake, but here we are, and you have it, and we gotta be smart with it, okay? This cross is special. Okay?"

"Listen, the deal is done." I told him "What deal? You had no time to get a deal done."

"Well, it is done because I'm selling some of it today." I said and he frowned "What do you mean, some of it?" "I melted that shit down." I told him making him chuckle and I smirked. "You're joking. You didn't melt it down." "No, no, I'm not joking. Shit. I mean, I can... I'll show you now."
