Short Story
Yesterday I took over Dr. Ren shift gladly as I need to be with Khun Pawat. I don't know why from the moment I saw him in that stretcher I was enchanted to him. I don't know why or what's this feeling also. When he slightly smiled yesterday I drowned . I wonder how beautiful will be his full smile... but his eyes look so sad all time... I really wanna know him more .
But at this moment I'm Hella tired after two consecutive surgeries and ward rounds and it's already afternoon. I still couldn't get to have a look on Khun Pawat puppy face. I got my third coffee and going to pass nurse booth,
"Doctor Nanon!!! It's so good you're here.!" Ms. Nora called me impatiently.

"Why is there any problem...??" I asked in confusion while sipping my drink.
"Yeah the officers are here again. And interrogating Khun Pawat. Ms. Park also there. "
"What? Why didn't you inform me early!!" I said in a hurry and put away my coffee.
"You were in surgery." She reasoned and I can't deny. It's true.
"Ah.. Shit.....!!" I cursed and without wasting any second I ran to Khun Pawat room. And I welcomed with Khun Pawat's shout along by his agitated composure... He looks so irritated and stressed out,
"I told you once I don't know how... I think my car brakes failed and I.. I .. suddenly hit that streetlight. That's all I know!!"
"But there is no sign of break failure Mr. Pawat?" Officers pressuring him more.
"There was.. I'm sure...!! He yelled frustratedly and I quickly stepped in saying,
"That's enough inspector... You're straining my patient. And if he said it doesn't then it doesn't because I can assure he is in good mental health after all."
I tried to cover up the situation knowing if this drags more Khun Pawat will lose control and he will be sent to the mental hospital if it happens and truth come out. I know I'm a doctor and should not cover up this but he needs time and care also love . He is a little unstable because he is at loss all of them.
"But doctor it's look like a suicide attempt. We can't.."
I saw Khun Pawat go silent and scared so even before he said furthermore I stopped him saying,
"I will give a complete report in his case and I can assure he didn't tried to get rid of himself. ( I said as I hold Khun Pawat hand caressing slowly and he looks at me stunned)
"And officers , vehicles also like humans. There can be any complications at any moment also can disappear quickly like a headache come and go. For now I want you to leave my patient alone because he is too tired and need lots of rest. If I found out again if you guys were questioning Khun Pawat without my approval I'm going to report you guys to higher ups as misusing your power. "
