So, that's how it is now. I'm really joining a band, for real!! My mind spins around and my heart is beating like crazy!! I made it!
I chuckle at that thought and my own excitement and my body joins with a little Jump..Reason for that?
Well, originally I never planned, in my entire life, to seriously join a band and to become an Idol! I basically just went to some auditions to keep one of my friends company and give him moral support! He didn't make it and is now sulking.. I, on the other hand, seemed to have made an impression...
Don't get me wrong, I love (!!) singing and I consider myself a good singer, but not good enough to be an idol.. Since now, I had my focus more on learning some instruments and found my love in playing the saxophone..
But well, let's get this started and see what the future has in its hands for me...

Right now I'm on my way to the house, where I will periodically living for the next few years (as far as everything goes as the company has planned).. We (me and the other members, which I don't know yet) are supposed to go to school, have different kinds of training and will be living in said place.. On some of the weekends and holidays we are allowed to go home since most of us are still underage and pretty young...
I have to change schools, which is fine by me..

I ring the bell as soon as I arrive at the (hopefully) right address and an older, nice looking-lady is opening the door..
The building looks pretty standard on the outside, nothing flashy, but it's quite big.. The entrance is inconspicuous on the side and the whole building seems to have at least 11  floors in total and it seems that everything belongs to the company as there is only one bell at the door..
The elder looking-lady scans me with her eyes and asks 'Are you Kim Taehyung? I have been waiting for you, you are late! From now on, you have to be on time, at all times! I'm Lee Ha-yoon, one of the vocal coaches but I also keep an eye on organisation and house-keeping' she informs me with a stern voice.
I gulp but smile at her. What a nice start, I think to myself but answer 'Yes, I'm. I'm very sorry but I got a little lost on the way and with my bag' I point at the bag in my hand 'I was slower than I have planned'.
She looks at me critically, but then starts to smile and asks me to follow her. I secretly breathe a sigh of relief.
We take the lift to the upper floors and she starts to explain. 'The upper two floors is where you and the rest of the boys will be living. Some of the staff has it's room in the 8th floor. You boys will be sharing rooms. One is for three of you and the other two rooms are double rooms. The seven of you boys will be taking care of some of the housekeeping yourself, so please don't make a mess.. Most of the cooking, shopping for groceries and other stuff will be done by the staff.
The practicing rooms for vocal lessons, dance training, the fitness center and other stuff you will get to know, are on floor 2-5..
Any questions?'
She looks at me and starts laughing at the expression on my face, which probably reflects how overwhelmed I am.. 'Don't worry, you will catch up soon. The other boys will introduce you to everything. You are the last one to join'. She gives me a wink and leads me to one of the rooms.. 'This is going to be your room for the next couple of weeks. You share the room with Park Jimin and Jeon Jungkook. The three of you are the youngest'.
I take a look at the room and see one bunk bed and one single bed on the right side if the room. Otherwise there is a medium-sized wardrobe, a small chest of drawers and a desk in the room. Overall, enough for three people, but it wouldn't have hurt to make the room a little bigger. From the only window, which is above the desk, you can see the gray facade of the neighboring building. I sighed. Ha-yoon looks at me questioningly.
'Is there a balcony or garden somewhere? Or any way to go outside?'
My parents live in a rural area and my grandparents, with whom I spent most of my time, have a farm. I love the nature. Seeing further into it and feeling the peace helps my inner salvation. And I love watching sunsets..
'You can use the roof terrace, unfortunately I can't offer you anything more. Oh, before I forget, here's your key card for the main entrance'. Ha-yoon hands me the card and explains further 'There is camera surveillance in some areas of the building. Otherwise, you will have little contact with cameras at the beginning. After a few months, you will receive special training on how to best use cameras and also so that you can get used to their presence'.

She is about to explain further when a boy about my age enters the room. 'Oh how fitting. This is Jimin, one of your roommates. Jimin, this is Taehyung, your new addition.' The boy smiles and waves. 'Hi'. I return the greeting. 'I'll leave you alone now, Jimin can show you the rest. Your schedule depends on the others. You are expected to take part in the rest of the program today...On time!' She gives me one last look and then frantically leaves our room. Jimin turns to me 'You can put your things in the closet, there should be enough space, I'll tell you the rest. By the way, we're in the same class at school too.' He beams at me with a wide grin. 'So you won't get rid of me so easily! I hope you behave,' he winks. 'I was free to check out your program and therefore know that we are school colleagues too'.

I immediately feel comfortable in Jimin's presence and breathe a sigh of relief. Jimin is a little shorter than me, but he makes up for it with his build. I can tell from his arms sticking out of his T-shirt that he is very muscular. More muscular than pretty much all the other guys our age. In contrast to his body, his face still appears very young and rather rounded. His lips in particular immediately catch the viewer's eye because they are very full and look extremely soft.
I can very well imagine that he is extremely popular with the girls.

Jimin shows me the rest and gives me important tips every now and then. In the meantime, we meet two of the other members, Min Yoongi and Jung Hoseok, but both are in a hurry to their rap unit and therefore only have a short time to greet me. Jimin explains that the three other members are out for the day and won't be back until tomorrow. Then he shows me where the program plans are, where I have my timetable for school as well as the various training courses. I am very relieved when I notice that the room numbers are given for all training sessions and also when I see that I only have one vocal training left today. I secretly hope that Ha-yoon is my teacher because I already have an idea of ​​what to expect from her.

The rest of the day goes by quickly and when I enter my room in the evening I realize how tired I actually am. The journey and the many impressions I got today challenged me more than I consciously realized. The vocal training actually took place with Ha-yoon. Apart from a short round of introductions, I was allowed to observe the lesson. It was explained that certain trainings also include other trainees who do not live in this building and who are potential candidates for other projects. I also learned that there are various vocal training courses. There are extra training sessions for the rappers and the vocals, but also different units depending on the vocal range. Today's training is one of the training sessions for low and deep voices, like me.
I was warned by Ha-yoon that the next units will demand more from me... After a short dinner where I don't see anyone else in the kitchen, I go to my room where Jimin is already doing homework at his desk... He points to the bunk bed and explains 'You can take the bottom bunk. Junkook took the upper bed and the single bed is mine. He looks at me 'Wow, you look really exhausted! The bathroom is down the hall on the left. You should go to sleep, tomorrow morning we leave for school at 6.30"

I grab my bath stuff and make my way to the large bathroom. Jimin explained to me that there are three more bathrooms spread over our two floors, but in two of them there is no shower and only one toilet, and in the other bathroom the shower leaks, so you have to mop the floor afterwards. He also explains that the bathroom should only be locked rarely, as seven people have to agree and it will be early when everyone has to leave the house, otherwise unnecessary trouble will arise. In case you have 'to take a dump' members are asked to use the small bathroom. So much for privacy...
I sighand get ready for bed, into which I fall shortly afterwards and fall asleep immediately...
