The mess in the leader's room was growing day by day. Without Commander being able to properly bend over without toppling over like a domino, and DJ's incapability with sticking to his word, the two started to realize just how much of a mess the floor and tabletops really were. Commander absolutely hated it and he was very vocal about it.

"God, I need to clean this damn room. It's a pigsty," Commander groaned through a yawn, sitting in bed as comfortable as ever. DJ followed his stare and looked around, suddenly realizing how messy everything was.

"It's probably best you don't do anything too strenuous right now, Comm." DJ took a seat on the end of Commander's creaky bed, looking over at the smaller man. "You good there? You look like you're about to knock out any moment now." He cracked a smile at the sight of a very drowsy commander, snuggled in his blankets and nearly smothered by the pillow behind his head.

"Yeah. I just need a nap," he mumbled, head slightly lolling to the side from exhaustion. Another yawn escaped his lips.

DJ snickered, "Go ahead. Nothings stoppin' you."

"We can discuss cleaning the place...later..." His rough tone softened into a sleepy, barely conscious one. Watching the older man doze off, eventually dipping into a string of snores, DJ checked his phone for the time.

4PM. That was probably the laziest time of the day for the team, so nobody would bother them anytime soon. Thankfully. But, with Commander asleep, and everyone being busy with their own personal lives, DJ knew he was going to get bored very quickly. He started to tap a finger against his chin, trying to conjure up an idea to spend the time. He was well aware of how long Commander's naps took.

An idea then came to his head.

'Maybe I can clean the place up before Commander wakes up? I'm sure he'd like that done for him,' he hummed, once again taking in his surroundings. It wouldn't be that bad! Simply picking up all the dirty clothes from the floor and clearing off the leader's desk isn't that tough to deal with. A particularly loud snore let DJ know he had more than enough time to get to work anyway. The guy was out cold already. 'Like a total old man.' DJ chortled and stood.

He knew he probably should've maybe asked before snooping around but, in DJ's heart, he was doing a favor for the guy. He thought back to the numerous times Commander snapped at everyone to "clean their quarters" because "a neat room is a neat mind" or something silly along those lines.

Commander was a major hypocrite, he realized as he picked up another article of clothing from the floor. He made a pile of clothes near the door, telling himself that he'd take those to the laundry room when he was finished. Admittedly, DJ was struggling to fight a blush when he picked up any undergarments, trying not to think too hard about what exactly he was holding in his hands. He moved on, eventually, and flung everything he deemed 'dirty' into the (actually pretty small) pile. He honestly thought there was more but he was pleasantly proved wrong.

Moving on, DJ's eyes caught onto Commander's desk. Though he was usually booted out the room while Commander was at his desk, for reasons beyond DJ's knowledge, a twinge of curiosity appeared in his chest. It wouldn't hurt to clean up his desk too, right? He was always over there, since he usually couldn't muster up the energy to walk all the way to his office and back. He needed a clean work space! DJ wanted to pat himself on the back for his selfless act.

DJ shuffled over, freezing in place as Commander mumbled and rolled over in his sleep. He was sure he would get the lecture of a lifetime if the leader woke up to him ... investigating. Thankfully, he stayed asleep, his chest slowly rising and lowering with shallow breaths. Letting out a soft sigh of relief, DJ decided he had to speed up his process a little bit.
