i walked into my first england camp today. it's the euros. i'm looking forward to it but i don't know anyone here. i know them but i've never interacted with them.

as i walked in, i noticed several pairs of eyes on me. that could be because im the new girl or it could be the massive bruise under my eye.

some of the girls were avoiding eye contact with me while others were making it blatantly obvious that they were staring.

i think they know me. i've been known to sleep around with loads of people.

well i'm not off to a very good start here.

"welcome rosa" sarina said. she put her hand out for me to shake which i did.

"thanks for the call up" i said.

"you deserve it. i've seen how good you can play" she said.

"thanks sarina i appreciate it" i said.

i walked away into the lobby and sat down.

my mum messaged me.

mum: hi honey, message me when you arrive x
me: hi mum, i've arrived. just met sarina x
mum: that's good, message me before bed x
me: will do, love you x
mum: love you x

someone came over and i put my phone away.

"hi you must be rosa" she asked.

a pretty face.

i nodded confidently.

"i'm leah, the captain. if you have any questions or troubles, i'm here to talk" she said.

"i think ill be fine" i said.

"right okay" she said and walked away.

soon enough, all the girls had arrived and we were all gathered in the lobby to be told our rooms.

i was told i'm with leah.

great, now i've got the captain up my backside.

she gave me a slight smile which i did not reciprocate. we got our keys and went up to our room.

i walked in and chucked my suitcase on the bed furthest from the door it was a bigger bed.

"i think i should get that bed as captain" she said.

"you want to fight me for it?" i said.

"what"

"only joking. wouldn't want to ruin that pretty face" i said. i tipped her chin up and ran my thumb across her jaw.

"what makes you think i can't fight?" she said.

i ignored her question and started unpacking my suitcase.

"what happened to your eye?" she asked.

"nothing" i said.

"looks like nothing" she said sarcastically.

"if you don't want to speak to me then just say" she said.

"i don't want to speak to you" i said with a slight smirk. i knew that would annoy her.

she huffed and left the room, mumbling something about going to find georgia.

flashback: yesterday.

i'm at my parents house. my dads been drinking. a lot. this isn't going to end well.

"your so fucking disgusting" he shouted.

"your a disgrace to this family. you go round sleeping with loads of women as if it's a normal thing to do. it's wrong. first of all that it's a new person every night and second that it's bloody girls in your bed" he spat.
