i ended up racing lucy up the stairs to get to the shower first and obviously i won.

after showering, i got dressed. these dinners are usually smart dressed so i wore some black pants with a shirt.

"le?" i called.

of course she's the last one to get ready. the other girls have gone down already.

"coming" she said as she walked out of the bathroom.

"about time" i said. i kissed her lips quickly and went out.

we went to the dining area and were met by crowds of people.

i felt a small force run into my legs and felt two hands at the back of my legs. i looked down and was met by my niece chloe.

i picked her up and threw her in the air.

"hi baby" i said and kissed her cheeks.

"i'm not a baby" she giggled.

"not anymore. your a big girl now aren't you" i said.

"yep" she nodded.

"auntie le le" she said and put her hands out for leah.

"okay i see where i stand" i mumbled and handed her to leah.

leah looked as though she was about to cry because of chloe calling her auntie.

"so big girl, how old are you now" leah asked.

"i'm three" she said holding out 3 fingers.

"wow that's a big number" leah said.

my brother leo came over and hugged me.

"how you doing sorellina (little sister)" he said.

"sì i'm okay" i said.

we sat down at some sofas in the corner. chloe sat on leah's lap and was talking to her, they looked so cute.

soon leah's family arrived. she got up and greeted them all, introducing them to leo and chloe. jacob and david sat with my brother and they got into a conversation and me and leah spoke to leah's mum and cousin.

leah's cousin had a baby. i was sat opposite and was pulling faces to make him laugh. he giggled and then i started playing peekaboo with him.

i turned to look at leah and saw she was watching me with the biggest grin on her face.

"what" i said quietly.

"nothing. your just so cute with kids" she said.

"he's just so cute" i said.

i picked him up and he smiled at me.

"hello. aren't you such a handsome boy" i said. i tickled his belly and he started giggling.

we went and sat at the table and i continued to hold him on my lap.

the food was served and we all ate.

"do you want me to have him back so you can eat" leah's cousin offered

"no it's alright" i said.

after we ate, they opened the bar so everyone went over there.

leah came back and handed me a drink and we sat chatting again.

leah had been looking after chloe all night and it was adorable. it was warming my heart. i can't wait to have kids with leah.

i went to the bar and sat down with amanda and david after giving mine and leah's orders to the bartender.

"um amanda. david. i wanted to ask something" i said.

"ask away darling" amanda said.

"erm so basically, i just wanted to ask. you know just because you know my past and stuff. i wanted to know if you trust me with leah and like i just was wondering just to confirm that you accept me" i begun rambling on.

"rosa what are you saying" she said. she had a slight excitement in her voice.

"i wanted to ask for your permission to marry leah" i said.

"oh yes of course you can darling" she said and hugged me tightly.

"amanda by that reaction, you'd think rosa was asking you to marry her" david laughed.

"oh shush david. i'm excited" she said.

"but yes rosa, we'd love for you to marry leah" david added on.

"thank you both so much. because i know what i've done in the past and you may not trust me or whatever but i really love leah with my whole heart. everything feels right with her and i've never felt like that before" i said. "all i want is what's best for her and i really believe that i can make her happy"

"darling you make leah so happy its incredible. she's never spoken to us about a partner the way she speaks about you" amanda said.

"she makes me so happy too. i don't know what id do without her" i said.

"me and your mum spoke about this already. we've been wanting it to happen for a long time." amanda said.

leah's family left and then leo and chloe left too. i was sat with my hand in leah's and a drink in my other hand.

i knew i wasn't drunk, just slightly tipsy.

"you are so good with kids baby, it makes me want kids with you" leah said.

"yeah, after i marry you i want us to have kids" i said.

"hmm so you want to marry me?" she said.

"yeah we already had that conversation" i said.

"i know i know, you planning on marrying me soon then?" she asked.

"maybe, maybe not" i said.

definitely.

"maybe i plan on marrying you sooner" she said.

"no i'll marry you first" i said.

almost everyone had left so me and leah decided to head up to bed.

we got into the lift and pressed our floor. leah leaned into my front and wrapped her arms around my neck.

i kissed the top of her head and lifted her up as she wrapped her legs around my waist.

i walked us to the door and into our room. the other girls were already in bed.

leah got down and use both got out pyjamas and went to the bathroom. we both got dressed and brushed our teeth before going to bed.

i lay and leah put her head on my chest and her hand in my shirt, tracing over my abs.

"goodnight girls" georgia said.

"night" we all said.

"goodnight baby" leah whispered to me.

"night princess, i love you to the moon and stars and across the whole galaxy" i whispered.

"i love you more" she whispered.

"i love you morer" i whispered.

"that's not a word so it doesn't count" she whispered.

"can you shut up and stop being so lovesick. we get it. you love each other more" keira whisper shouted.

"sorry kei" i said.

"don't be sorry just be quiet" keira said.

we all laughed and then went to sleep. i stroked through leah's silky hair until she drifted off and then i fell asleep after.
