Chapt. 6 🥀

- This takes place 1 month into Cody missing. -

* GWEN | THIRD PERSON 🥀 *

It had been a full month of Cody missing school, which was somewhat unusual for him.  Gwen being Gwen, didn't pay much attention to it at first, but after he didn't come back for another week, she began to worry.  There were no signs of Cody being at the school, and the principal paid no attention to it.

Gwen didn't want to admit it, but she missed Cody.  His constant rants about a Pokémon or something nerdy, they were what would help her feel much better.

So, she planned on heading over to Cody's place to see what was wrong.  She didn't know what to expect at all.

* Time Skip to After the School Day *

Now, it was finally time to head over to Cody's house.  Gwen hopped onto her bike, and began pedaling to where Cody's neighborhood was.

Cody's house was in an isolated part of town, a place that would be seen as "paradise" to anyone else who lived there.

Gwen eventually made it to the house.  Out of breath, she ran up to the door, knocking lightly.  She waited for a response.

It had been 13 minutes into waiting that someone finally opened the door, it was a woman.

" Uh- Hi there, um .. Ma'am.  I— "

" What do you want. " The voice was harsh and raspy, it spooked Gwen somewhat.

" I was wondering if Cody was home? He's missed a full month of school and—"

" For fuck's sake .. No clue where that kid ran off to.  He ran away or some shit.  His dad's just been drinking nonstop. "

" Wait what? Cody ran..away? Why didn't he tell me...That's- That's really odd, and who would he have ran away to... " Gwen asked herself out loud.

" If that's all you wanted, then leave. "

" O- Oh! Ah .. Yes, okay. Thank you. " Gwen nodded, leaving the house.

She doesn't have anything to find Cody .. He ran away? And didn't tell her?

That was really out of character for Cody. Plus, who would he go to? He doesn't have any relatives nearby, unless you count Heather, but she moved to a different city. So .. Who else would Cody try going to? Trent? Harold? No .. Harold left for another "Ninja Training" Camp before school started .. Trent might be her best bet.

So, Gwen began on her way to Trent's place, pedaling as fast as she could.  She needed to know where Cody is.

Once she arrived, she immediately knocked on his door, gasping for air. Trent eventually opened the door, looking at Gwen, shocked.

"Gwen?! Hey- Hey.. Uh, what's up?" Trent asked, clearly nervous.

"Cody, Where is he? Is he here?" Gwen immediately asked, looking at Trent.

Trent just shrugged. " No, I haven't seen hin at all .. Now that you mention it, he stopped texting me as well which was hella weird. " He mumbled, looking at Gwen.  " Was he not at home ? "

"No, Trent, why else would I be asking if he's here?! " Gwen asked, frustrated.  She groaned, laying her head onto the door frame.  " I just want to know he's okay.  That's all.  He's like a little brother to me, and him not being around makes me anxious. " Gwen muttered, covering her face as she began to cry.

"H- Hey- Hey.. Gwen.. Gwen .. Deep breaths, okay? " Trent tried his best to help her calm down.

- Another month into Cody missing , Missing Person reports have been spread -

* GWEN | FIRST PERSON 🥀 *

It's been another month.  We still haven't found him.  There have been search parties and everything.  It's getting to a point everyone thinks he's dead.  There have been people who gave up after the first week.  There have been many posters made by people at the school who are all worried for Cody.  We haven't made progress.  I'm about to take everything into my own hands and figure this out.

I will find whoever took Cody, I swear on my fucking life.

I will find you.

And you can't stop me.

* I know this chapter is shorter than usual , but but but , the 7th chapter WILL be longer , this is just introducing Gwen fully 💗 *
