Takigawa Masaki was very panicked.

He didn't know what to do. His mind suddenly went blank when he saw how Ishida Andini was crying and having difficulty breathing. There was no one behind me. Focus on me, Andini. Focus on my voice. You are okay."

"I'm sorry, Akira Oniichan. I am guilty. If you are angry with me and want to take me with you, I will come with you gladly." Andini said in a voice that reflected her pain. Hearing that, Masaki gritted his teeth. Ishida Takeru had really manipulated his daughter's mind to make her think like this!

"I won't let you go anywhere, Andini. You have to stay with me!" Masaki exclaimed in a firm tone.

Masaki thought maybe this was not the right way. Even though he and Andini are only seven years apart in age and even though he is interested in Andini, there are things he shouldn't do. "Of course," Akira laughed and ruffled Andini's hair. Then, he kissed his little sister's forehead and hugged her. "We can learn together. I will teach you how to do Kyudo properly and elegantly, Andini-chan."

"Ung!" Andini nodded enthusiastically. "But, won't Oniichan be angry?"

"Why should I be angry?" Akira asked in a confused tone.

"Because I will learn Kyudo. I'm afraid that Oniichan thinks I'll take Kyudo away from you." Andini looked down and played with her hands. "I don't want Oniichan to hate me."

"Ei, how could I possibly hate my adorable little sister?" Akira laughed. He gently pinched Andini's cheeks and hugged her again. The boy then stroked Andini's back. "Andini-chan, you are my only sister. You are a part of me. I could never hate you."

Andini felt the warmth from those words and nodded. Since that day, they have trained together, participated in tournaments together, and much more. Then, the accident happened just when they were fourteen years old. Ishida Akira couldn't move his right hand. He could no longer lift his bow when Andini began to shine with her career as a Kyudoka. That gaze that always shone with hope, affection, and enthusiasm, has now dimmed.

"Are you happy?" Akira asked in a flat tone at that time. This made Andini freeze and didn't know what to do.

"I hope you are never happy."

Just one word from Ishida Akira and Ishida Andini's world shattered instantly before her eyes.

The next day, the day after the twins' fourteenth birthday, Ishida Akira was found dead by suicide in the bathroom.

Nikaido Eisuke ran along the hospital hallway.

"You said you were interested in Andini-chan but I don't think you deserve to be by her side, Takigawa Masaki-san," Eisuke said in a firm tone. "Because, you can't even protect my little sister well!"
