Chapter 11

A week has passed since the incident at the hospital and Takigawa Masaki has not met Ishida Andini again.

When Ishida Takeru took his daughter away from the hospital, Ishida Rena, Ishida Andini's Mother, told him about all the sadness and suffering that her daughter had to experience. How Ishida Takeru blamed his daughter for the death of Ishida Akira, Andini's older twin. How the man forbade Andini from doing kyudo again and continued to instill negative words towards his daughter. Ishida Andini's warm and cheerful personality slowly turned cold and dark.

Ishida Rena asks for his help to save Ishida Andini from the darkness in her heart but Takigawa Masaki doesn't really know what he should do.

"Inga-chan."

Kurosaki Inga, who was the first to arrive at Kazemai High School's Kyudo training ground, turned her head around. Masaki smiled and approached her. During this week, Masaki always asked about Andini because the girl didn't go to school. Masaki had gotten Andini's cell phone number from Inga but the girl never answered the phone or replied to his messages.

"Hello, Masaki-san," nodded Inga. She already knew what her coach would ask. Every day for this week, Inga saw a change in Masaki's attitude. The man became gloomy and only spoke when necessary. Masaki also seems to often daydream. Inga is sure that Masaki is really worried about Andini. Inga and her friends already knew what happened at the hospital at that time. They overheard a conversation between Masaki, Ren, and Andini's Mother. "Today, I will meet Andini-chan."

"Really?!" Masaki's blue eyes flashed with hope. He smiled broadly and held Inga's shoulders. "Where?"

"At a cafe near the city park." She tilted her head. "Err... you know there is a bridge near the city park and under the bridge there is a river flowing? That's where it is. There is a cat themed cafe that has just opened. The cafe is pink."

"I see," nodded Masaki. "Can I come? I'm really worried about her, Inga-chan. And I have to talk to her."

"Of course," Inga smiled. "We will leave after Kyudo practice is finished. But, it looks like Shu-kun will be coming with me too. Andini also never answered Shu-kun's calls and never responded to his messages. So, Shu-kun really wants to meet her."

Takigawa Masaki clicked his tongue in annoyance. Actually, he didn't want to see Andini and Shu get close to each other. However, he felt that this was not the right time to think about such things. He had promised Ishida Rena to get her daughter out of the hell that Ishida Takeru had created for her.

"Andini-chan?"

Ishida Andini turned her head. The expression on her face was cold and her gaze looked flat and empty. For a few seconds, Andini tried to remember who the guy in the high school uniform in front of her was. He is a handsome guy and has gray hair.

"You're Ishida Andini, aren't you?" the man asked to confirm. He smiled gently and pointed at himself. "Don't you remember me?" His eyes glanced at the river under the bridge. Andini was standing very close to the bridge and her body was pointing downwards. He didn't want to think about this but Ishida Andini looked as if she wanted to jump down.

The girl seemed to have the intention of committing suicide.

"Eisuke...Oniichan...?" Andini asked in a doubtful tone. "Are you... Nikaido Eisuke Oniichan?"

Nikaido Eisuke nodded and smiled even more. "Yes, you're right. You still remember me. How are you, Andini-chan?" Slowly, without Andini noticing, Eisuke took Andini's arm and took the girl away from the bridge. He didn't know what happened to Andini but leaving the girl alone didn't seem like a good thing at the moment. "When are you returning to Japan?"

"A few weeks ago," answered Andini in a low tone. "Eisuke Oniichan, are you still doing Kyudo?"

Eisuke nodded. "You too, right?"

"No," Andini shook her head. "I don't do Kyudo anymore."

"What? Why?" Eisuke asked in a surprised tone. "You are very talented, Andini-chan. When I decided to stop doing Kyudo, you were the first person who told me to keep doing it and gave me encouragement even though at that time you were in Indonesia."

"Because Akira Oniichan doesn't exist in this world anymore."

Eisuke froze. The guy was wide-eyed. He is the older cousin of Andini and Akira. The twins were one year younger than him. When they were little, they always played together whenever they had the chance. Eisuke's Mother is the older sister of the twins' Father. Eisuke also knows about the bad incident that happened to Ishida Akira from his Mother. He was very sad when he found out about this.

"Then, what are you doing here alone?"

"I don't know," Andini looked confused. The girl took a deep breath and rubbed her face with both of her hands. "Ah, I remember. I have to meet my friend at one of the cafes around here."

"Café?" Eisuke looked around him. Too many cafes near them. "Which cafe?"

"Err... the one with lots of cats."

"Ah, it's over there," Eisuke pointed towards the pink cafe. He smiled. "Come on, I'll take you there."

Andini let Eisuke take her to the cat cafe. After that, she could see Kurosaki Inga standing in front of the cafe. Her face looked panicked and the girl looked like she wanted to cry. Then, Takigawa Masaki and Fujiwara Shu came running to Inga. Both of them shook their heads and said something to Inga. Andini stopped in her tracks when she saw Masaki's frustrated face.

Why is that man here?

"Andini-chan!"

Inga's exclamation made Andini flinch. The girl felt like running away when Masaki looked at her. Then, Masaki ran towards her and immediately hugged her tightly. This made Andini wide-eyed, as well as Eisuke who was forced to let go of Andini's hand.

"I missed you," Masaki whispered. "Don't you know how panicked I was when Inga said you couldn't be contacted and you were half an hour late? I was afraid something would happen to you."

Andini gasped. The girl immediately pushed Masaki and freed herself from his embrace. Seeing Andini's reaction, Eisuke didn't remain silent. The man stood in front of Andini and stared sharply at Masaki.

"Who are you?" Eisuke asked in a cold tone. "What do you want from Andini-chan?"

Masaki was silent. He clenched his jaw. Who is this man? Why does he seem to really care about Andini?

"Nikaido senpai?"

Eisuke looked at Shu and snorted. "Fujiwara Shu. Why are you here?"

"Do you... know Andini-chan, Nikaido senpai?" Shu asked back and didn't answer Eisuke's question earlier.

"Of course, I know her very well." Eisuke held Andini's hand tightly. "Because Andini-chan is my cousin."
