Dean had brought Sam to the house.
Their latest job included another Horseman. Famine. He had made everyone hunger for something they hadn't had for a while, or something that they were addicted to.
Castiel had hungered for hamburgers because of his vessel.
Dean hadn't hungered for anything, surprisingly.
But Sam had hungered for demon blood. He had fed on some, and had managed to kill Famine with his powers.
Dean had brought Sam here because we had to get lock him up again like we had before.
Dean and I stood outside the panic room.
Sam was screaming. "Let me out of here! Please! Help!"
I looked at Dean. "That's not him in there. Not really."
"I know," Dean told me.
"Dean, Sam just has to get it out of his system," I told him. "Then he'll be..."
Dean took a deep breath. "Listen, Ness, I just, uh... I just need to get some air."
I nodded.
Dean walked out, leaving.
I looked through the barred window to see Sam writhing and screaming like he had done before when we had had to lock him up and get it out of his system.
And, to be honest, I didn't like it anymore than Dean.
