10:48 pm | Tatum Vaughneton"I'm going to die."
"You're being dramatic."
"No, I really feel impending doom right now."
I took the cup of alcohol away from my lips slowly and smiled at Lucille and Onyx, holding Blaise on a random plank of wood over their heads and attempting to do squats.
I sat crisscrossed on my bed with a smile and a bottle of fire whiskey, handing out shots to whoever asked or looked too tense.
The lighting was poor but you could still clearly see everyone. It was more warm lighting.
Onyx's mixtapes played quietly in the background creating quite a comforting scene.
Chaotic if you pay attention to what everyone is doing. But somehow still comforting in the sense of us all being good friends and tolerating the craziness.
"You're fine, Blaise. We're not going to drop you." Lucille rolled her eyes and did another squat in time with Onyx. "Hey lets up the stakes. What- Oh! Draco, get over here!"
Draco shook his head vigorously and quickly put a bookmark on the page of his Charms book. "No. No no- I'm tired."
His mendacious excuses went in one ear and out the other as Luce and Onny gently put the plank back down, Blaise scrambling to the floor and gripping onto one of the legs of my desk chair for dear life.
Draco swatted their hands away as they forced him to get off the floor. "No- no I'm really tired. I don't think this is a good- oh dear."
They hoisted him onto the "platform" of sorts and squatted once while he clutched onto the sides of the plank like a cat above water.
Onyx's grip wavered. "Oh shit-"
One screech.
Two gasps.
One laugh.
I stared from my seat on the bed as he lay on the floor, eyes staring at the ceiling, lips slightly parted.
He was so still that for a moment I feared he died.
"Oh fuck. Oh fuck I killed him! I'll be expelled!" Lucille put her face in her hands while Blaise poked the side of Draco's face.
Draco shot up and stuck his pointer finger in the air. "Okay if you killed me, getting expelled should not be your first concern. Fucking Grangers."
Blaise smirked. "Yeah, but you already did that."
I laughed, sitting back from previously leaning over the bed to make sure Draco was alive.
I turned around at the sound of a small chuckle in the doorway. Lorenzo stood there, a few plastic bags in hand filled with alcohol, muggle herb, and cigarettes, and a sly smile on his face. "That's a good one, Blaise. You should write that down."
