I'm done for the last time
I'm lying to myself again
I always say that

September 17th, 1997
Hogwarts Great Hall
7:42 am | Lorenzo Berkshire

"You didn't have to carry her all the way back to her dorm, Lorenzo." Draco picked at the crust on his toast as he looked at me from across the table. "We could have just left her on the floor like usual."

I shrugged nonchalantly and moved around the cereal in my bowl with my spoon. "It wasn't a big deal. She's always mad when she wakes up anyway. Plus, I had to stop by someone's dorm by her on the way back, so it didn't make sense not to just bring her."

He whistled while wiggling his eyebrows at me. "New lady friend?"

"None of your business."

"Oh come on, tell me. I'm your best friend and your cousin. Those are two valid reasons to tell me."

I set the spoon down against the bowl and ran a hand through my hair. "Alright, if those are two good reasons to apparently tell each other everything, Did you really hook up with Harry Potter at Ginny Weasley's party last year or was that just a rumour? No lying because I don't lie to you I just avoid the questions."

"I asked you first-"

I smirked. "That wasn't a no."

He went pale, or paler than usual for him being already pale as a ghost Draco Malfoy. "That's not- no- I didn't- what?"

"You're really still mad at me?"

Draco and I both turned to look a few feet away as Cyrus and Tatum walked in, his arm around her waist to keep her walking in a straight line, which she honestly doesn't know how to do, while she looked up at him and whispered something I couldn't hear.

He shook his head before whispering something back and walking away.

I guess that first bit was the only drama we're getting.

Tatum sat down beside me with a nearly silent huff. "I hate boys. Not men because he clearly isn't one. Boys are disgusting and rude and- just-" She let out a breath of frustration before brushing her hair from her face and shaking her head, immediately dropping the idea of complaining to us.

I wouldn't tell her, because she already seems to be upset with Onyx for always bringing it up, but I really don't like him. He's always been an asshole who talks shit about the girls he's dated when he's with his friends. But she also just always dates shitty people. Like, always.

"You alright? You look like you may kill someone." Draco asked her hesitantly and slowly chewed his now crustless toast.

"I'm fine." She answered sharply.

I made sure not to brush my arm with hers in fear of her already pissed-off state.

Still, she glared at Cyrus, like Draco would at Lucille, as he sat down next to a Ravenclaw girl and talked to her with a wide smile.

Onyx walked in a moment later with Blaise, both of them smiling and arm in arm.

Blaise sat beside Draco and Nyx beside Tatum.
