season 3, episode 10
all the interns are sat in the locker room getting ready for their shift. everyone is talking about cristina and burke who both kept burke's tremor a secret.
"maybe she'll be on 'look but don't touch' patrol too. at least I'll have some company."
"whatever she gets i hope its bad. really bad."
"the most she'll get is a slap on the wrist, maybe a day's ban from surgery. neither of them killed anyone, just lied so there's no malpractice. technically, from a legal point, they did nothing wrong." athena went back to munching on an apple after giving her input.
"she made a mistake, we all make..." meredith gets cut off by george.
"a mistake? she was going to let burke, burke with the shaky hand operate on my father." cristina walks in and george glares at her.
"could you stop looking at me like that? it's creepy, and makes you look like you haven't been fed." everyone besides Meredith, cristina and athena leaves. meredith begins asking her a million and one questions before bailey walks in and begins to scold cristina.
"rounds started 30 seconds ago. the chief may be confused about punishment for you but i'm not. your late again, you will find yourself another resident." the 3 of them join the rest of the interns to start rounds. meredith is pulled off to the side by addison, one of her sister's are here. the group of doctors enter george's fathers room, his mother had left out food for the doctors. dr. hahn joins them later on.
"alright lets make this fast people. i have a day. which one of the interns is mine?"
alex is quick to speak up, with a mouthful of food. "it's mine. he's family and she's a candy striper."
"i'm ready."
"what if you did pick me. what if you picked me?" george's brothers, ronny and jerry begin to mock george in a ugh pitched voice.
"yang." everyone speaks up at once, showing their disbelief. athena raises her eyebrows but doesn't say anything. "dr. hahn, cristina is very good with cardio. i'm sure you could use her for the day. what are you waiting for yang, present the case."
"harold o'malley, sixty three, diagnosed with oesophagial cancer and severe aortic regurge. is scheduled for aortic valve replacement this afternoon." after they've finished with rounds, they leave harold's room and everyone begins complaining about the case.
"dude that case was mine and she gives it to yang. i haven't had a cardiac case in ages."
