Linh POV:
Our plan was working worse than expected. They started to attack even if they were confused. Some stayed back, just staring, but others attacked. I pulled out my boxing skills and started to punch one of them. Knockdown. The others looked very surprised at my newfound way of defense. I shrugged. Edaline snapped her fingers and a plate of... RIPPLEUFFS (idk how to spell it) appeared!! Linh! Head back in the game!
I tried to gather some water, but there was none! Edaline conjured some buckets of water while holding out the plate of rippleuffs to those who came. And surprisingly, a lot did. I gathered the water I needed to surround my fists so that everytime I throw a punch, the victim's face will get drenched.
I laughed, liking the new me showing. This was much more fun then I expected. Take that, Tam! I'm no longer the girl who needs her brother to do everything for her! For some reason, a part of me wilted at that statement. Ugh, I seriously needed to stop my mind from wandering. I stopped a guy with a melder from hitting me by punching him square in the jaw.

Keefe POV:
Finally, when most of them were knocked out by Linh, which I, by the way, did not know she could do. She might just be my favorite elf now. Besides Sophie. And me of course. Anyway, we split up to look for Grady, and after 3 minutes and 47 seconds of searching, I heard someone start thrashing in the next room. The door was cracked open slightly, so I peeked in. "Last chance to answer me. Where is it?" A raspy voice asked. I did not want to know who that was. "I told you... I don't know..." A voice that sounded like Grady replied. His voice sounded hoarse, like he hadn't had any youth for two months. Well, I guess he hasn't.
A command lingered at the back of my throat, waiting to be used if needed. "Well, I guess we no longer have any use for you." The voice said. "D-does that m-mean you'll let m-me go?" Grady's voice trembled with fear. Why aren't you using your mesmerizing? I asked the universe. "No. We'll have to get rid of you." With that I stormed into the room. Sleep. The command slipped from my mouth. Finally, something good comes out of this power.
A black-cloaked figure lay unconscious on the floor. Grady was unconscious as well, but did not take any damage from the command because he was sitting. I cupped my hands around his ears and whispered 'wake' as quiet as I could so the other dude wouldn't wake up. Grady startled up and breathed a sigh of relief. "Keefe, I have never been happier to see you. Are Sophie and Edaline okay?" "Yes, they're fine." I said as I worked at untying his bonds.
All over his hands lay bad burns. I finished removing the bonds and helped him up. Just then, the familiar feeling of Foster came into my head.
Hey Foster, miss me much?
Shut up Keefe. Any luck?
I was about to say that you're just in time. Grady's with me and safe.
Even from across the building, I could feel the relief radiating off her. Anyone else?
Tell her about the mystery dude, or save her the worry? The answer seemed pretty clear to me. Only Grady.
I replied. I said we'd meet her at the exit and started walking there with Grady, explaining what happened in the past few weeks. When we got there, we were ambushed with hugs and kisses (me from Foster, Grady from Edaline). After our reunion, Linh did the same thing that she did when started this journey, she held the crystal up to the light, joined hands with us, and stepped in.

Sophie POV:
Everything is back to normal. The sun is shining, people are getting ready to ask other people out (Dex is wanting to ask out Biana), and hopefully the Neverseen are gone.
I turn my head towards Dex, who was having a panic attack. "It's gonna be OK Dex, just ask her. I promise she will definitely say yes." Dex looks at me in the eyes and gives me a weak smile, not at all showing his dimples. I thought my words would've been inspiring or something, or at least stop his trembling. But no, he kept on trembling. I could hear his heartbeat from all the way sitting on my bed, and boy, it was fast. I got up from the bed and wrapped my arms around him. "Dex, why would I lie to you? Biana will say yes, trust me." Dex stopped trembling when I hugged him, but he was definitely still panicking. "Why would she say yes to me? My parents are a bad match, and I'm a Dizznee, wayyyy out of her league." I sighed. He's a lost cause. But still, I have to try.
"How about this: You perform your little Techie tricks to make us both earpieces. I know Biana best, so I'll instruct you on how to please her." Dex's face lit up. "That sounds perfect! But, one thing. Care to tell me what earbieses are?" He really is hopeless. "First of all, it's earpieces. Second of all, they're a device that we put in our ears, like my airpods, that have microphones on them to communicate. Understand?" Dex put on a thinking face, probably thinking about tech stuff, before the corners of his mouth tugged up into a mischievous grin. Uh oh.
Another chapter done! I'm also tired of having a goal of 1200 words so... Anyways, soooo sorry for not updating. I've been in a funk recently and have spending most of my time reading.
Question: HP or KotLC (answer honestly)? I am really obsessed with KotLC. It's on my mind like, 24/7.
I hope you enjoyed! Bye!!
