Chapter 7

"Jasmin, what do you want?" It was Maddox, and he didn't seemed happy at all.
"Look I need to talk to you, it is important please."
"Sophie already told me everything, I thought you were different Jasmin seriously."
"I saw her cheating on you at the beach, I literally sent you a picture that proves everything."
"What are you talking about Jasmin!? I don't even have your number. Are you drunk or something?" He asked, confused.
What? My mind couldn't even think correctly. What is he saying? I literally had his phone number, that's how he texted me. Unless...At that moment everything makes sense, it was like figuring out a puzzle in a game after 30 minutes breaking your mind trying to solve it. That wasn't Maddox's number, but yes Sophie's. CJ gave Maddox my number by writing in a paper and putting on his short pocket, but Sophie must have taken it somehow. And then she pretended to be Maddox to him and I hang out while she was busy with the beach guard. That also explains why she didn't tried that hard to delete the picture from CJ's phone, because she already knew it wouldn't come to anything.
CJ was looking at me and I could read her mind saying "What's going on?"
"Jasmin look I better go now-" Maddox started saying in the phone.
"No! Maddox your girlfriend was cheating on you and then she must have invented something to not make you believe us."
"And why should I believe in you than my own girlfriend!?" He asked, already in the limit.
What should I say now? I was clearly panicking, thinking about something smart to say, but nothing came out. CJ realized what was going on so she grabbed the phone of my hands quickly and started arguing saying:
"Listen here you stupid, why would we be lying to you in the first place? You already have a stunning girlfriend and you are happy with her. Besides at least for me, you're too stupid that is not even worth it all that we are doing here for you. I don't know what my friend saw on you honestly, but she is not giving up about telling you the truth so listen what she has to saw right now."
Listen all these words coming out of CJ's mouth and going to Maddox's ear made my mouth make a perfect O. I was shocked I couldn't even move or think, even the employee was kind of surprised. CJ smiled at me and gave me the phone back, which I put it slowly in my ear.
"Your friend is...interesting." He said, after a time of pure silence. "But I guess she is right after all. I am all ears."
Instant relief took over me, just CJ to help him understand this situation.
"So, basically CJ and I discovered that your girlfriend was cheating on you with some beach guard today. I sensed you a picture that proves everything but-"
"Call ended" That's what I heard after getting interrupted. NO.
"The phone call has a limited time Miss." The employee explained.
This couldn't be happening, I had the chance to tell him everything in my hand and I lost it.
"So?" CJ asked next to me.
I shakes my head, looking down disappointed at myself mostly. CJ tried to comfort me by hugging me, but didn't work out very well.
"I said I was all ears, so continue." I heard his voice from behind me.
I turned around and saw Maddox standing and looking at me. Without any warning, CJ showed him the picture on her phone. The moment he realized his own girlfriend was kissing another boy, his face was in total shock.
"See? That's what we were trying to tell you." CJ said.
"Don't believe in these two idiots Maddox."
I already recognized that voice, maybe a little too much. Sophie appeared out of nowhere, like a ghost just hearing and passing through the walls.
"Hey teenagers, if you all wanna have a fight or something, please exit the hotel. The employee said, getting mad.
We all got out of the hotel. I already knew this was not going to end well for one of us. But I had to try, for Maddox.
